Okay, question time. As we all know, I'm doing research on the high middle ages, in particular, the 12th and 13th centuries. Well, my community knows, people coming into this may be complete strangers. I cannot picture a fiefdom. I cannot picture anything to do with the feudal system it is killing me. I have also forgotten some questions in this video that I'm thinking of now- like, how the heck are inns placed. Are those just randomly dotted around in fiefdoms? Are there typically multiple inns to a fiefdom? One would assume they sit alongside roads, but DO they? BECAUSE NOTHING ELSE IN THE MIDDLE AGES MAKES SENSE

I spent a little too much time thinking about whether to write "01" or "1" or "one" lmao. Welcome to the first ever meetup of a book club meeting on the channel! Most of the time channels seem to handle this via livestreams, but as my channel's still on the eensy side, we're going to do this a little differently. I was going to put some background music in for this episode, but the audio was so hinky that I just... it didn't work well. I couldn't raise my voice audio because it really high-lighted just how odd the audio was, so putting music meant having to make it like... almost impossible to hear.
I have a patreon, but there is currently not much there except for a single support tier! In the future, I hope to start something that'll allow me to build up something there!
