Beverly got Type 1 Diabetes in 1985, and since then managing it had been a constant struggle. She followed the low-fat dogma to a T, and even studied as a Nutritionist, yet her diet failed her. Averaging blood sugars in the 300's, she had major complications including a brain tumor, but then she found keto and eventually the Bernstein approach!
Since then, she has finally been able to have her blood sugar levels normal, at a flat line! Her feet are no longer cracked, and her brain seizures have lessened dramatically. With her A1c at the lowest it's ever been, she knows that she can live a long and healthy life! Watch below and learn how Beverly tamed her Type 1. #tametype1

I've been trying out cheese-making lately, with raw goats milk I get from a local farm. Raw milk is super-nutritious, but the carbs make it tough for me to drink much of, so I'm turning it to cheese instead!
This week, I've decided to record my attempt to make a quick and easy classic; mozzarella! I hope all of you enjoy it. If you did and would like to see more how to videos, give it a like and share, and let me know in the comments.
If you're in or around southwest Ohio, you can get the best milk on this side of heaven here:

Now that you see why eating consistently is so important for taming type 1, now the question remains; HOW do you eat consistently? What does consistency even mean? Here, I explain what it means, the different ways you can eat consistently, and provide a few examples out of Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution.
