#greenmountaingoldtrap is really starting to take off. By request, I decided to get out there and put a full video together with a small crew on hand to assist me. "Important Note Below"
Two thing I forgot to mention.
1- Rocks or Leaves on skid plate @6:46 into the video. Notice the materiel inside the trap.
When good size rock gets hung up, it causes the plunge pool effect inside the trap. This is clearly visible in the video.
2- Set Up @2:08 into the video. Notice that when I place the trap in the water, it stays put. ABS Plastic tends to want to float. Acrylic does not. 9 times out of 10 when you put it down, it's good to go. However, there will be times in needs to be pinned in place on either side with some rocks.
In this video, I walk you through all the aspects of the Green Mountain Gold Trap.
No matter the model size, this video fits. With smaller models the difference is your feed rate.
