We are currently grinding in previous tales in preparation for The Crystals. Previously, Porom continued leveling up in Porom's Tale. Porom has reached Level 35. Kain has reached Level 32. Now, they will continue grinding on Mount Ordeals.
Overworld:
The party resumes outside Mount Ordeals. They enter the mountain area.
Mount Ordeals (time 0:21):
The party begins climbing to the Summit.
On the Trail, Kain reaches Level 33.
When they reach the Summit, they do the bulk of their leveling.
Porom reaches Level 36.
Kain reaches Level 34.
Porom reaches Level 37.
Kain reaches Level 35.
Porom reaches Level 38 and learns the White Magic spell Haste.
The party descends the mountain.
Overworld (time 45:48):
They go to the northeast peninsula. After advancing time to a waxing moon, they hunt for White Dragons. They encounter a couple, but they do not get any White Tails as drops.
The party heads to the Chocobo Forest.
Chocobo Forest (time 58:19):
They talk to the White Chocobo to refill Porom's MP. Then, they leave the woods again.
Overworld (time 58:40):
The party saves outside Mount Ordeals. Next time, Edward and Harley will start leveling in Edward's Tale.

Previously, Heorot did some leveling as Black Mage in the Western Altepa Desert and reached Level 61. In this video, he will switch to Red Mage and do some more Job Point grinding in Escha - Ru'Aun.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he receives gil for an Earth Cluster that sold at auction. He changes his main job to Level 99 Red Mage.
Then, he heads out to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 1:14):
Heorot teleports to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 1:37):
Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5. Just up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence to enter Escha - Ru'Aun.
Escha - Ru'Aun (time 2:15):
Heorot arrives at H-11. After summoning his Trust NPCs, he hunts some more Eschan Il'aern in this zone.
During his hunting, he gets a locked reliquary with a new Facility Ring. Lovely!
Heorot accrues 1 Job Point for an overall total of 60 Job Points earned. He has a current total of 2 Job Points.
When he has finished for now, he uses the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to return to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 1:10:06):
Heorot arrives at G-5. Just down the hill to the west, he uses Home Point #1 to teleport to Port Jeuno.
Port Jeuno (time 1:10:41):
Heorot trades his Crests to Shami at H-8 for storage.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets.
Bastok Markets (time 1:12:23):
Heorot trades his Copper A.M.A.N. Voucher to Isakoth at E-11. In Mjoll's Goods, he sells his loot to Olwyn at E-11.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 1:14:31):
At the auction house, Heorot puts another Earth Cluster up for sale. In the Alchemists' Guild, he visits the Ephemeral Moogle in the back room at K-6. He trades the Moogle some Clusters for storage.
Heorot enters the residential area.
Mog House (time 1:17:26):
Heorot signs off. Next time, he will continue grinding.

Previously, the party carried out the standard quest "The Mysterious White Fog" in the Erythia Sea, Cadensia Region. Then, they carried out the quest "Writer's Block", which started in the City and took them to several locations across Aionios. Now, they will carry out a couple more quests that remain in the City.
The party resumes at the City Camp in the City. They skip travel to the Mitia Lookout location on the northern ledge.
South of the lookout, they approach the quest event on the balcony overlooking the City. This triggers a scene with Romero, whose actions are quite concerning. This starts the standard quest "Romero and Joulietta". The next destination is the Lavi Sandbar in the Erythia Sea.
The party skip travels to the Sandbar Ferronis Hulk on Lavi Sandbar in the Erythia Sea, Cadensia Region. They follow the quest guidance northwest and then east across the island. They will more fully explore the island itself later.
On a ledge overlooking the northern shore, they find a Container. The Third Pillar Remnant landmark is along the northern shore.
The party finds a skirmish between Archknight Gulkins and a Sagittarius in the east. They pass it up for now. There are Kevesi Levnises lurking around the eastern side. The party farms an Ether Channel.
The party approaches the target marker for a scene with Romero. A crabby critter is guarding his prize.
The party battles the Lavi Pagul. It's Level 47, so my team has no trouble. Another scene with Romero takes place after the battle.
The party skip travels to the Serene Square in the City. They approach the quest destination at Michiba Canteen for a scene with Romero and Joulietta. Not to mention her overbearing father. "Romero and Joulietta" complete!
Info triggers the follow-up quest, so the party goes exploring. Just east of Serene Square, they learn the info "Joulietta's Attitude (1/2)". In the west, along the corridor north of Mxene Tech Quarter, they learn the info "Joulietta's Attitude (2/2)".
The party skip travels to the City Camp, where they discuss "Joulietta's Attitude". This starts the standard quest "Joulietta and Romero".
They skip travel to Serene Square. At Astelle Harbor to the north, they talk to Joulietta.
They skip travel to the Remembrance Stones. To the south, they talk to Romero in the Caelum Residential Quarter. Oh, dear.
The party skip travels to Sentridge Harbor Control in the Great Sword's Base, Cadensia Region. They approach the quest marker to the southeast for a scene with Kabata and Joulietta. Kabata gives the party a choice. I understand that choosing the "Rearguard" provides a slightly higher affinity boost.
The party skip travels to Bannis Path in N'ohm Wetlands to the southwest. They continue southwest to the target marker for a scene with Joulietta. She's gung-ho, isn't she?
After the scene, the party battles the 13th Expeditionary, consisting of six Keves foot soldiers and a Gastrates. Another scene takes place after the battle.
The party skip travels back to Sentridge Harbor Control. They go southeast to the target marker for another scene with Joulietta, Garrett, and Romero. Jeez, Garrett. Kabata rewards the party. "Joulietta and Romero" complete!
The party skip travels to the City Camp in the City and checks around town again. Sorry about the Switch's performance hiccups. This game really taxes the hardware sometimes.
The party skip travels to the City Camp, where they cook some Highly-Piley Ocean's Bounty. They save. Next time, they will work on Lanz's ascension quest, which is available near Sentridge Harbor.

Previously, Heorot continued grinding in Escha - Ru'Aun. He has earned a total of 88 Job Points as Red Mage. In this video, he will do some more Job Point grinding as Red Mage in Escha - Ru'Aun.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He picks up a Merit Point upgrade. He also picks up a Job Point upgrade for 4 points. He has now spent 88 Job Points in total as Red Mage. He has 0 Job Points left over. In his delivery box, he receives gil for three Plutons that sold at auction.
Then, he heads out to Bastok Mines.

At the auction house, Heorot puts a Fire Cluster and two Plutons up for sale.
Afterwards, he teleports to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.

Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5. Up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence at G-5 to enter Escha - Ru'Aun.

Previously, the party continued exploring the Cosmo Canyon Region. They activated the sixth and fifth towers, the Ancient Capital Tower and the Spiritwastes Tower, and visited most of the sites that they revealed in the southwest and northeast. Now, they will visit a lingering Spiritwastes Tower site, "Expedition Intel 5" on the northeastern plateau. Then, they will take out the region's classified fiend. Afterwards, they will work on more of the region's combat trials, including Bahamut Arisen.

Previously, the party wrapped up a grindathon in Baramos's Lair. Now, they will explore the dungeon and confront the Archfiend himself.
Alltrades Abbey:
The party resumes at Alltrades Abbey. To get underway to Baramos's Lair, they Zoom to Romaria.
Overworld (time 0:50):
The party boards Ramia and flies south. In the lake east of Baramos's Lair, they find a small island with a poison marsh surrounding a cave entrance. They land and enter the cave.
Pit of Giaga (time 1:14):
In this release of the game, there are no treasures to find in the Pit of Giaga. The party talks to the two soldiers on guard duty. The party cannot drop into the pit ... yet!
They leave the cave.
Overworld (time 2:15):
The party boards Ramia and flies west. They land at Baramos's Lair and head inside.
Baramos's Lair (time 2:28):
The party starts in the outdoor area of Baramos's Lair. There is nothing to find outside. They head north through the main gates.
This takes them to the entrance hall on floor 1F. To the northwest, they descend the staircase.
This takes them to a corridor on floor B1. They begin in the northwest corner. They go south a short way. At the intersection, they follow the hall east. This takes them to a cell in the northeast corner with a deceased occupant. Just west of the bed's headboard, they search the floor and find Mini Medal #076.
Red the Merchant reaches Level 36.
Back at the intersection, the party turns south. At the southeastern end of the corridor, they take the stairway up.
This leads them to the southeastern corner of the castle grounds. The party heads north along the eastern edge of the grounds. Past the narrow corridor, they turn west and go through a door.
This leads them to a small room in the east of floor 1F. The party goes a short distance north and goes up the stairway.
This leads them up to the ramparts. The party works their way west past a couple of gargoyle statues. They go down the stairway to the west.
This takes them to an area on floor 1F. Out in the main hall, they use Safe Passage to go south across the damage floors. There are stairways in the southwest and southeast. First, the party goes up the stairway in the southeast.
This leads them up to the ramparts again. The party goes west and descends the next stairway.
This leads them to a treasure room on floor 1F. The southern treasure chest contains the Hapless Helm, a cursed headgear. The other chests contain a Prayer Ring and the Headsman's Axe. The Headsman's Axe is only for Warriors. It often misses or crits, much like the axe ability in late

Previously, Heorot carried out Treasures of Aht Urhgan Mission 4: "Knight of Gold" in Al Zahbi, Aht Urhgan Mission 5: "Confessions of Royalty" in San d'Oria, and Aht Urhgan Mission 6: "Easterly Winds" in Jeuno. He must continue as a mercenary in Aht Urhgan so he can infiltrate the Empire for the Middle Lands. Now, he will continue with Aht Urhgan Mission 7: "Westerly Winds" in Al Zahbi.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Al Zahbi. He exits to the Aht Urhgan Whitegate.
Aht Urhgan Whitegate (time 1:08):
A scene takes place as Heorot enters the Shararat Teahouse at K-12. He meets Gessho the Yagudo. There is definitely some imperial intrigue going on. Heorot acquires the Raillefal's Note temporary key item and an Imperial Silver Piece.
In Salaheem's Sentinels, Heorot talks to Naja Salaheem at I-10. A cutscene takes place. Boy, she has a temper. Even so, Heorot earns another Imperial Silver Piece. Aht Urhgan Mission 7: "Westerly Winds" complete!
Aht Urhgan Mission 8: "A Mercenary Life" begins. Heorot must talk to Salaheem again, but he will have to zone out and return first.
So, Heorot takes the gate at E-9 to Al Zahbi.

Heorot turns around and takes the gate at L-7 to the Aht Urhgan Whitegate.
Aht Urhgan Whitegate (time 17:07):
When Heorot enters Salaheem's Sentinels, a cutscene automatically takes place at I-10. Aht Urhgan Mission 8: "A Mercenary Life" complete!
Aht Urhgan Mission 9: "Undersea Scouting" begins. Heorot must go to go to the Alzadaal Undersea Ruins on patrol on behalf of the Aht Urhgan Archaeological Research Institute.
Heorot takes the gate at E-9 to Al Zahbi.
Al Zahbi (time 27:03):
He takes the North Gate at G-6 to Bhaflau Thickets.
Bhaflau Thickets (time 28:11):
Heorot rides north through the area. At F-6 in the northwest, he finds Kamih Mapokhalam. He trades her an Imperial Silver Coin to enter the Alzadaal Undersea Ruins, Ruins of Alzadaal.
Alzadaal Undersea Ruins (time 32:38):
Heorot starts at G-8 on the seventh map.
When he approaches the Gilded Doors at H-8, a scene takes place. He seens to have walked in on a tour. Ghatsad provides a lot of information about the place. Heorot acquires the Astral Compass permanent key item to help him find Astral Candescences. But there's something suspicious about Ghatsad's group. Aht Urhgan Mission 9: "Undersea Scouting" complete!
Aht Urhgan Mission 10: "Astral Waves" begins. Heorot must return to Naja Salaheem. But first, there is another staging point to find in this place.

Previously, Heorot explored the city of Jeuno. We saw the long cutscene that begins the content for the expansion "A Crystalline Prophecy". He also carried out the quest "Chocobo's Wounds" to earn the privilege to rent chocobos. Now, he will start Bastok Mission 2-3: "The Emissary".
Mog House:
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He heads outside.
Port Bastok (time 0:52):
At H-10, Heorot talks to Rashid. He signs up for Bastok Mission 2-3: "The Emissary". This will send him to San d'Oria and Windurst. The first objective is to talk to Naji at the President's Office in the Metalworks.
Heorot teleports to the Metalworks.
Metalworks (time 2:50):
Heorot talks to Naji at J-8 outside the President's Office. In a cutscene, Heorot meets with President Karst, who is a bit prickly. The president assigns Heorot to visit Bastok's consuls in San d'Oria and Windurst and carry out tasks for them. Heorot receives the Letter to the Consuls temporary key item to present to the consuls.
You can go to the other countries in either order, but the order will impact your duties. Heorot will first go to San d'Oria. At the nearest Home Point, he teleports to Northern San d'Oria.
Northern San d'Oria (time 8:56):
In Northern San d'Oria, Heorot finds the Consulate of Bastok at J-9. First, he talks to Baraka at the counter at J-10 for a cutscene. He meets another adventurer named Lion. She speaks of the Orcs, the beastmen threatening San d'Oria.
After the scene, Heorot speaks to Consul Helaku at K-10 in the back room. Another cutscene takes place. Helaku wants Heorot to investigate Ghelsba Outpost, the nearby Orc settlement. First, though, Heorot needs to speak to Monarlais Halver in Chateau d'Oraguille for the formal mission order. This starts the sub-mission "The Emissary (San d'Oria)".
At J-7, Heorot heads north into Chateau d'Oraguille.
Chateau d'Oraguille (time 14:41):
Just inside Chateau d'Oraguille, Heorot talks to Halver at I-9. Heorot must infiltrate Ghelsba Outpost northwest of San d'Oria. In the highland encampment, Heorot must defeat Warchief Vatgit, the camp head. When that is done, Heorot should report to Consul Helaku.
Heorot talks to Faurie at the door to leave the chateau.
Northern San d'Oria (time 16:47):
To the west, Heorot finds Kuu Mohzolhi at F-7. She is the young Mithra girl for San d'Oria's Mog House exit quest. Regardless of the responses you choose, talking to her starts the quest "Growing Flowers".
Heorot trades to Kuu a Marguerite, which he purchased at the flower shop in Upper Jeuno. She teaches him the back alleys of San d'Oria

Previously, Heorot continued Rhapsodies of Vana'diel with several Chapter 2 missions: "Ganged Up On", "Sacrifice", "Somber Dreams", "Of Light and Darkness", "Temporary Farewells", "Brushing Up", "Keep On Giving", and "Past Imperfect". Now, he will continue with "The Cursed Temple", which will take him to the delightful Temple of Uggalepih. Note that before doing this mission, Heorot must complete Rise of the Zilart Mission 4: "The Temple of Uggalepih".
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He heads outside.
Bastok Mines (time 1:30):
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to the Temple of Uggalepih, Elshimo Uplands.
Temple of Uggalepih (time 2:15):
When Heorot zones into the temple, a scene with Iroha and Tenzen takes place.
Afterwards, Heorot gains control at the Survival Guide at F-6 on the first map. He goes through the Granite Door at J-7 to the unmapped northeastern corridor.
At K-3, he climbs the stairway and goes outside.
Yhoator Jungle (time 5:55):
Heorot arrives on the eastern platform at J-9. Immediately to the north, he takes another entrance to the temple at J-9.
Temple of Uggalepih (time 6:51):
Heorot arrives at F-7 on the third map. He goes past some foolish enemies that will still aggro a Level 99 character.
From a Tonberry Maledictor, he acquires a Scroll of Thundaga II. This requires Black Mage Level 61.
At J-6, Heorot takes the Granite Door. A scene takes place with Iroha, Tenzen, and the spirit of Grav'iton. Grav'iton advises them to meet Selh'teus at Holla, Dem, or Mea. This completes both "The Cursed Temple" and the subsequent mission, "Wisdom of Our Forefathers".
The next Rhapsodies of Vana'diel mission, "Where Divinities Collide", begins. Heorot must go to the Crag of Holla, the Crag of Dem, or the Crag of Mea.
Heorot casts Warp to leave the temple.
Bastok Mines (time 16:36):
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to La Theine Plateau, Zulkheim.
La Theine Plateau (time 17:13):
Heorot arrives at the Survival Guide at M-8. He calls his chocobo and rides to the Crag of Holla.
On the western side of the crag, he dismounts. He examines the Shattered Telepoint at J-8 and chooses to investigate it further.
Hall of Transference (time 19:30):
Heorot enters Holla's Hall of Transference. A cutscene takes place with Tenzen, Iroha, Selh'teus, and several other characters. Who is that Balamor, and what is his game? This concludes the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel mission "Where Divinities Collide" and the subsequent mission, "Visions of Dread".

Previously, the party did a couple of quests starting in Agnus Castle. They carried out the standard quest "Going Home" and opened a route for the former Lost Numbers prisoners to return home to the City. After going to the Central Harbor in the Agnus Castle Barbican, they traveled to Farview Cape and cleared out some monsters. The Armory Pilot now provides transportation to the City. The party also carried out "Seeker's True Intent". After investigating Seeker, they helped him by taking Darnie some food for transportation to the City. Now, the party will continue questing in Agnus Castle.
The party resumes in the Ascension Grounds, Agnus Castle Region. At the Death's Door camp, they discuss "Castle Prisoners". This starts the standard quest "The Three Fiends".
The party enters the breakroom area. This triggers a scene with Soona. The party automatically goes downstairs to the Evergaol for a talk with Tohma. The party must talk to Soona to have a fight with Tohma and company, or they must complete three subquests.
The party talks to Tohma in the Evergaol. The standard quest "Three Fiends: Tohma" begins. The party learns the info "Tohma's Situation (1/3)". There could be more to his story.
The party chats with Soona and asks for more information about the prisoners.
Up in the Ascension Grounds, the party talks to an Internal Affairs Officer in the west. They learn "Tohma's Situation (2/3)".
They talk to the Agnus Soldier in the northwest and take the Levnis down to Mulus Depot in the Agnus Castle Barbican, Cadensia Region. They skip travel to the Funicular Approach in the Central Harbor. In the southwest, they talk to the Inspection Analyst and learn "Tohma's Situation (3/3)".
The party skip travels back to the Ascension Grounds, Agnus Castle Region. At Death's Door, they discuss "Tohma's Situation".
In the Evergaol, they talk to Tohma again. They tell Soona his story. "Three Fiends: Tohma" complete!
The party talks to Xera. The standard quest "Three Fiends: Xera" begins. The party learns "Xera's Situation (1/4)".
At the Station Breakroom, the party orders the Erythea Sashimi Plate. Manana learns Highly-Piley Ocean's Bounty.
The party skip travels to Mulus Depot, Cadensia Region. In the depot, they talk to the Logistics Guy and learn "Xera's Situation (2/4)". West of the depot, they talk to Kaye for "Xera's Situation (3/4)."
The party skip travels to the Funicular Approach. They talk to Dana for "Xera's Situation (4/4)".
The party skip travels back to the Ascension Grounds, Agnus Castle Region. At Death's Door, they discuss "Xera's Situation".
In the Evergaol, they talk to Xera again. They tell Soona her story. "Three Fiends: Xera" complete!
Then, the party talks to Jhodor. The standard quest "Three Fiends: Jhodor" begins. The party learns "Jhodor's Situation (1/4)".
Upstairs, the party talks to an Internal Affairs Officer for "Jhodor's Situation (2/4)".
The party skip travels to Mulus Depot, Cadensia Region. In the east of the depot, they talk to Grover for "Jhodor's Situation (3/4)".
The party skip travels to the Funicular Approach. In the northeast of the harbor, they talk to Darnie for "Jhodor's Situation (4/4)".
The party skip travels back to the Ascension Grounds, Agnus Castle Region. At Death's Door, they discuss "Jhodor's Situation".
In the Evergaol, they talk to Jhodor again. They tell Soona his story. "Three Fiends: Jhodor" complete!
For "The Three Fiends", the party reports to Soona. "The Three Fiends" complete! The party's Agnus Castle affinity reaches Rank 3.
The party runs around in search of new dialogue. The party goes to their Soul Trees under Interlink and picks up new ability nodes.
The party saves. Next time, they will work on a Hero Quest in Erythia Sea.
