Way back in 2019 I had a depth year. If you don’t know what depth year is it’s an idea of taking a year to focus really deeply on the things you already have. (I’ll link a playlist with loads more depth year info in the links below) My depth year also included some elements of low buy and no buy. Especially around things which I felt I already had enough of - like tarot decks and books. Connecting depth year with a no buy or low buy year makes a lot of sense at first glance. Of course you’re not going to want to buy things if you're focusing on what you already have BUT If you saw my last video you’ll know that I have mis-applied this concept in my life especially where it comes to tarot and how I share about my practice. I’ve recently realised a whole new dimension to this question of depth which I am finding so helpful in shifting my perspective and actually allowing that deepening of focus which I what I was craving in the first place.
