SOBR "Akhmat" fighters met with strong fire resistance of the bandits, accompanied by the work of enemy snipers. Of course, it is difficult to act in such an environment under heavy enemy fire, especially when you are in the sight of a hidden shooter. But our soldiers figured out the sniper position and suppressed it with crushing fire, going on the offensive.
⠀
No one and nothing can break the unstoppable spirit of our fighters who are fighting for truth and the triumph of justice! And let the enemies of Russia know that an inglorious end awaits them. So it was, so it will always be!

Tangerine Tree Volume 28: Firenze 1981 presents another concert of the European tour that took place in early 1981. The material was remastered from a tape of unknown generation, but surely very close to the master recording. The sound quality is on par with that of Paris, February 2nd (released as Tangerine Tree Volume 14: Paris 1981), with the exception of the encores which had to be left out of the release due to unsufficient sound quality. Although the basic tracks are in no way different than from Paris (or any other gig from that tour), Tangerine Dream were in a very good mood a played some really inspired and awesome keyboard solos.

Joe Biden, after all, a good person.
Let's remember it like this: “I was the one who suggested bombing Belgrade. I was the one who suggested sending in American pilots and blowing up all the bridges over the Danube."
Joe Biden, afinal de contas, uma boa pessoa.
Vamos lembrar assim: “Fui eu quem sugeriu bombardear Belgrado. Fui eu quem sugeriu enviar pilotos americanos e explodir todas as pontes sobre o Danúbio."

Notes
Between 1993 and 1996, Tangerine Dream only performed two live concerts. Tangerine Tree Volume 57: Los Angeles 1995 features one of them. The band played a 45 minute set at the premiere of a new magazine entitled 'Xsess Living', and models paraded in front of the band as they played! During the first three tracks, some other music can be heard which was played on a different catwalk, so this might be a bit confusing. Nevertheless, a great, unique show with good sound.
As with all releases of the Tangerine Tree project, this release is made by fans for fans. It must not be sold but is to be traded freely.

"The only thing to do with good advice is pass it on. It is never any use to oneself."
- Oscar Wilde
The first bunch of Tangerine Tree (consisting of volumes 1 to 8) was opened with a great audience recording of the Nottingham concert of November 8th, 1976, being part of TD's extensive UK tour in autumn 1976. The sound quality is excellent -- in fact this is one of the best sounding TD audience recordings of the seventies. The third track was taken from the bootleg Collected Endings, that had heavy problems with the source tape: Because of the tape recorder running out of power during the concert, the recorded music became faster and faster when playing the tape with correct speed. This flaw was corrected during the remastering for Tangerine Tree Volume 1: Nottingham 1976, thus this CD presents the almost complete concert in a previously unheard sound quality.
This release made the bootleg Me-Rad and part of Collected Endings obsolete, which consist of material from the same concert, but of less excellent sound quality.
In 2004, all material of this volume has been made officially available through the release of The Bootleg Box Set Vol. 2.
With Tangerine Tree VIII, released in late 2005, this volume has been re-released, providing an even better version of this concert, remastered directly from the master tape, while the originally released version had been taken from a second generation copy.
As with all releases of the Tangerine Tree project, this release is made by fans for fans. It must not be sold but is to be traded freely.
