I do not use filters or trick lighting in any of my videos, including livestreams. Any blur you might see in the livestreams is due to the technical limitations of livetreams. This is also why most "BeauTubers" don't apply makeup live. (Plus, it is definitely not for the faint of heart to do anything live. It forces you to be more authentic due to the lack of editing. I think that's why I like it so much.) Please consider signing up for my Patreon if you would like edited, in-depth reviews of these products in 4K HD.
* HIGNFY = "Have I got nudes for you" is a statement and a question. Like, are these actually "nude" / neutral eyeshadows? This is a real pet peeve of mine. SO MANY makeup products are marketed as nude or neutral that are really neither of those two things. To me, a "nude" eyeshadow should help you achieve a "no makeup" makeup look, and "neutral" should be balanced enough that you can wear it with warm or cool clothing and hair colors. All of the makeup in this series is marketed as neutral or nude by the manufacturer. Is it? Do I really have "nudes" for you? We'll have to put these palettes to the test and find out!
In this series, each livestream will begin with a summary of the product, a brief review based on the makeup trials (available on Patreon), I will put a look together on camera (so almost like a tutorial), and then I will pair with three pre-selected wigs in three different colors to see if this is a "true neutral" palette.
Remember: a true neutral will work with both warm and cool colored hair.
- I experiment with these product prior to giving a live review. This will allow me to give more detail and information about how they wear throughout the day than if these were all "first impressions" videos.

TRIVIA: I call my channel "Retrograde Heather" instead of "CysterWigs" because I dropped out of a Master's Program at UGA to do this. It felt a little like living in retrograde. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to hang out with strangers all over the world!

Kristen is a less expensive alternative to Victoria (also Jon Renau; another similar style would be Jamison by Estetica, which I've also reviewed). It's the same cut, the only difference is in the cap construction. This is a GREAT wig. Jon Renau wigs are beautifully done and very well made. The colors are very beautiful and the hair fibers are very light. This is a wonderful professional wig with a lace front for added realism.
I have had an online boutique for sometime, but just recently added wigs. I have been a wig wearer personally for about 7 years. I wanted to create an online resource for women with hormone-related hairloss, though my mission might appeal to all sorts of wig enthusiasts. I run a lot of specials. The heaviest discounts are on the wigs I review here. Subscribe to my channel and I'll occasionally send you some coupons - but I promise not to be obnoxious about it!
I want to give people a chance to see what wigs will look like on someone with fuller cheeks and a rounded face shape. Manufacturer photos always feature skinny girls with giraffe necks. Though they're pretty, it doesn't really help me figure out what a wig will look like on someone built like me. I will try them on so you can see too. That way it can help you make an informed decision when you purchase your wigs...even if you don't buy them from me.
