Halo, various levels and difficulties. My eighth 'freakiness and fun' compilation shows 22 freaky or amusing incidents, many of which occurred while recording footage for my usual movies - so you may recognize some of the situations.
Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Heroic. Following on from BCM231 which covered set-up work, this shows a whole lot of force-launching. The clips aren't in exact chronological order but there's an overall progression. My earlier efforts are all in the first three minutes, and thereafter my technique evolves and I focus on height.

Halo, level 2 ('Halo') on Legendary. Last year I did three movies about hog-launching yourself up to the top of the first tower, and there were a few clips where I inadvertently got zapped by the blue beam in mid-air. But getting zapped is a worthwhile topic in itself, so now here's a movie on doing it deliberately. The set-up work is just the same except you'll want different timing, so that if you promptly launch yourself, you'll have a good few seconds to sail up high and then the beam will fire. Here I was using the 'alternative checkpointing' approach shown in BCM325, which saves you having to rush the hog positioning.

Halo, level 2 ('Halo') on Heroic. In this further triple-play of my rockslide megabattle save featuring 11 Marines in a far area defence against 33 covies, I take on a new challenge, trying to prevail with just a needler and the usual grenades. I also try to be quite proactive like in BCM149, though I have to be more cautious this time, lacking the close-range power of a plasma pistol.

Halo, level 2 ('Halo') on Normal. After releasing BCM203 involving an empty early Banshee, I discovered a startling phenomenon which I call the departure death anomaly - which was most likely responsible for that empty Banshee. Check out the weirdness - and see my new article for more detail.

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Normal. Highlighting three rock groupings you can enjoy defending at, this shows another four plays of the tunnel megabattle set-up used in the last movie, in which I'm armed with a pistol and plasma rifle.

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Heroic. This shows three plays of a spiral path megabattle save featuring 53 covies, most of whom start behind a 3-Ghost blockade at the pass exit. I use the pass blockade rumble plan each time but vary my weapon combo from play to play. Plenty of rockets involved!

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Normal. This shows three plays of a twin bridges megabattle save featuring 53 covies, using the trough defence plan fought solo (no Marine support). In the first I use plasma rifle and needler, in the second I use rockets, and in the third I go with sniper rifle and pistol. The save is similar to what I used for BCM90 except I've eliminated the four Hunters.

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Heroic. Back when I was working on the business of getting seven extra Marines in the first ground battle, I found a variation in which you end up having no Marines, which makes things quite novel. Here's a set-up demo and a sample play in which I tail a patrolling Elite.

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Legendary. Continuing the topic of getting a live Wraith to the bottom of the cavern, this movie demos an approach I hit on towards the end of making the last. Namely, immediately freefall underneath to get clear before doing some cushioning. Maybe the best plan so far. You'll also see quite a bit of fun at the bottom!
