How to Eradicate Body Lice on Organic Poultry using Essential Oils Part 2. Pou blanc. Piojos.
Treating common poultry lice - nits (lice eggs) and adult nymphs with Essential Oil of Eucalyptus Citriodora. How and why it works and how and where to apply it. A treatment I learned from a fellow organic poultry keeper, who had shadowed an organic vet as part of her continuing education in phytotherapy and aromatherapy.

Hastings the Cochin cockerel is all well again, after just one more treatment with essential oils and a couple more with organic pure, virgin coconut oil. I only gave him the former, because on the next morning after my initial treatment I noticed that the damage to the base of the comb had caused trauma to the area around Hasting's left eye lid which had thus began to swell up.
