I am SuperDerek and Broketober continues this week with plenty of new games coming out but before we get to that we’ve got some Release Date & Localization Updates: • Divinity: Fallen Heroes by Larian Studios has been put on hold indefinitely o Originally slated for a November 2019 release, the team says its become clear the game will need significantly more development time and resources o Larian Studios plans to focus on developing Baldur’s Gate 3 for the time being • Dragon Quest of the Stars coming to the West in 2020 o This is a mobile RPG where you can make your own Dragon Quest hero. o The Closed Beta to start on October 30th, you can register for the beta using a link in the description  https://www.dragonquest.com/ofthestars/ Other News: • Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore Japanese Version will be Based on Western Version o This includes all of the outfit changes, also some DLC will just not be present, so if you care about that sort of thing there are patches for the WiiU version you may want to look into o This is also • Persona 5 Royal game size will be 10 GB larger than it’s original release o Likely mostly a factor of 4K assets and more animations, but kind of neat anyway • Bethesda has delayed the Wastelanders update for Fallout 76 until early 2020 o This patch is planned to add NPCs to the game among other things, addressing one of my major gripes with the concept, o simultaneously abandoning one of the few design aspects that made the Fallout 76 concept unique. I can barely believe myself when I tell you that I finally own a copy of E.V.O. Search for Eden for the SNES! EVO was one of those games that I came across a long time ago thanks to the help of emulation and a list of RPGs to check out. What I found wasn’t an RPG as I had been lead to believe, but more like… I don’t know, maybe an Action-Packed Pre-Historic Adventure game? Yeah I’d say that sounds about right. EVO was developed by Almanic Corp, the company that was also behind Cosmic Carnage and later, Wonder Project J2: an RPG for the Nintendo 64 that sadly was never released in the US. The game was based on a 1990 PC game entitled 46 “Okunen Monogatari ~Harukanaru Eden e~” Or "4.6 Billion Year Story: To Distant Eden". Fortunately for us, Enix picked up the game and decided to localize it for a US release in 1993.
