Doing a bit of maintenance on the Team Associated Mini MGT 3.0. After the first run i had noticed there was oil and fuel all over the back of the engine and chassis. Turns out the exhaust gasket had blown out at the top and bottom which i had suspected in my previous run.
I was also having range issues i thought it might be down to the steering servo as it seemed a bit slow and glitchy sometimes. I have swapped it out for an SRT BH9027 HV servo this is massive overkill and really wasted in this truck with the servo horn mounted saver, but i had it spare so i might as well use it. I suspect it could be a dodgy receiver, but i will change 1 thing at a time.
I have also opened the new body and trimmed it a bit more where it was required. I still need to finish the original wheels and tyres.

Recently i have picked up some local deals from ebay. A HPI Savage X 4.6 and a Hobao Hyper 7 PBS. Both of them seem to be in good condition, but they clearly haven't been used in a very long time, so over the next few videos i will be stripping them down and restoring them to full working order.
In this first Part, i am starting work on the savage. I will have to buy some parts to make these models ARTR or RTR. Hopefully the final video will be them both up and running. I may also do a comparison between the Savage and the Hyper MT as well as a comparison between the Hyper 7 PBS and my Xray XB808.

Footage from the oc meetup with 135L of LN2. I only got 4 scores, but some other people managed to get some really nice scores. Was a good experience and hopefully my next session on LN2 will go better!
Asus Cocked up sending us a 6900K es rather than a 6950x that we had requested. It only manage to do 5ghz on LN2 as well, but i still had a good play with it and tweaked loads of things in the bios of an x99 board that i had never used before.
Thanks to Gavin for setting this meet up, organising LN2 and letting us all bench in his office. Was great to meet someone new overclockers as well as see people i had met before.

So i bought these 3 900mhz athlon off ebay. I run into a few problems testing them out. i should be doing a future video on how to unlock the multiplier on these chips as only 1200-1400mhz Thunder bird athlons have unlocked mutli's.
