Listening to it with 20 years distance is a deeply weird experience. I'm simultaneously impressed with myself for managing this in high school but.... also want to smack past myself for a few interpretive things, mostly how I hadn't really figured out how we HEAR timing as distinct from how a performer FEELS timing. Fun as hell piece though, also the original source for some of the techniques I used in transcribing Old King Allant. I will also add that there's a decent correlation between the parts I where struggle with accuracy and the parts I remember Cziffra altering.
