These are Lao's options but I'm sure the cast can all do something similar. - Lao can interrupt the amplify if hes close enough with d3 and doesn't even need to flawless block. This is really key for dealing with Cetrion as this is probably her best special move. You can also neutral jump right outside of the range and make it whiff then dive kick. Stricter timing but its worth it. Hell's Wrath (df1famplify) amplify - Check her after blocking it with a Hat toss or walk forward/threaten jump dive kick. - Neutral jump to avoid its arc in the range that you can the whiff punish it. - Space it out then punish it. - Also gotta look for teleport because then they get you looking for this as a threat. Teleport is still in play. - Can dive kick through the first part but takes specific timing. Big pay off with combo damage. Have to stand in the same range as max range db1f for most these strategies to work. Boulder Bash (DB2) - This move is annoying lmaoooo - Flawless block it so shes not + and you don't take as much chip. - Full screen try to see which boulder she is doing so you can properly navigate. - Can short hop it too but the timing is very strict. Probably the hardest move for Lao to clear. His best bet is to flawless block or dive kick over it but the timing is stricter. Its not a great option but its an option. Geyser (bf4) - Walk forward and delay block to get a chance of flawless block. This move when flawless blocked lets you recover and get in so fast. - Can also short hop it but the timing is strict. - Can dive kick through it but again timing is strict. Teleport (du) - She recovers so fast. Most punishes vs teleport will be a hard read. You have to let the Cetrion player think they are conditioning you then punish their teleport. - There are certain times Cetrion will want to teleport but its on every player for if they use it or not. - Here are ways to punish it. React with a combo starter or land on it with a jump in. Earth Quake - Homing projectile. When you block the first part you can move to punish Cetrion. Short Hop, Jump in or dive kick to get in. For the most part you want to get Cetrion to try to control the ground then jump/divekick/short hop at random times to get in to force her to do db1 and punish her.
