Welcome to Part 5 of our SDR heater control series, sponsored by PCBWay (https://www.pcbway.com). In this episode, we dive deeper into the world of RF communication by using RTL433 to decode and analyze raw RF packets. We're finally able to see that the power button signal hex code and checksum match the example code! Our journey continues as we modify the example code to send wakeup commands and wait for a response from the heater. With these exciting developments, we're getting closer to making this project work seamlessly with Home Assistant via the ESP32.
