This was an old suggestion from Deviantart as well. Honestly I did like 5+ for some of these suggestions lmfao. It was good practice. Although I'm nowhere near where I was back in the day for speed, accuracy, and creativity, I think I'm finally getting the hang of things a little bit again. Once I start doing actual targeted practice I will improve pretty quickly. After that I need to study evolutionary biology and zoology again. Having traced nearly 700 of my old drawings in the past 2 years, I still haven't really grasped how I used to do my calligraphy style outline. It varies so much that I can't comprehend the technique xD but overall I think it has to do with thickness length and direction. I had studied real calligraphy before I attempted to input it into my drawings in 2013, so I understood the principles more-so than today. Might study calligraphy again just to get the style techniques back. But generally I'm trying to move away from thick outlines.
