a short but puzzly glimpse in a desperate futuristic fantastic world where robots control the population and huge machines that almost all involve a puzzle of some sort populate the surface the world. The story is very engaging as are the puzzles, they all make sense, some are harder some are not so hard, but if you have some 15-25 minutes to spend in a different world and get your mind involved then do it here. Deer in the headlight has no puzzles but an interesting twist on the old dad and rebelling teenage daughter narrative with not only dad rock but also dad jokes thrown in there for good. It was made in a few days during the global game jam 2020. There is voice acting by Francisco Gonzalez of Grundislav Games and Ivy Dupler, that already voiced various characters for Lamplight City, another game by Grundislav Games (and also for Unavowed and for Whispers of a machine). All in all the game has very good music, very good sad music and the whole theme is very sad, fitting for the darker times of the year. It is about a person coping with the death of a loved one and there are 5 endings to the story. On my first longplay the game ended in a suicide but when I recorded I managed to stay alive, yay, so a happy end to this longplay and you can play it yourself and see the other ends if you dare. Beautiful graphics add to the surreal experience of feeling totally lost and alone and having to deal with death. Another entry for the AGS Compo MAGS January 2019 with the theme Crossover. This game crosses Space Quest with Planet of the Apes or so. cEgo is the default name for the default character in AGS. There is no story to speak of there but I like a game that advertises itself to feature "Humor" and just has dirty lines in it every now and then. Some of them are really "funny". I like how the aliens in the tiny spaceship react to the player for example. The first screen is from the new AGS template and this is the first time that I know of the background was used in a game since the template's creation back in 2017. There is not much else I have to say, except maybe that I am really impressed by the game author recording voice over for every line in this "game" ;-) This is a reupload. This version is played by the game's author, Durq, thanks a lot for this. The first version of the video was me playing a beta version of the game, this version features more animations, more sounds and more complete credits.
