Hey yo! I went to Fibo Lim's Free Live Seminar on How to Acquire Unlimited Customers in Your Business Using the Internet WITHOUT Chasing and Selling to People. It was held in Madison 101 Hotel in Quezon City last August 24, 2019. I watched him apply all the techniques that I've been learning in the past workshops/seminars that I attended. At the beginning of the seminar, he was playing videos of testimonials from his previous attendees and then started off with his origin story. He started out as a law student in Cebu, decided to drop and pursue his entrepreneurial itch. He has a digital marketing agency called Aztrabay. He is focused more on Facebook marketing and funnel sales. His website is dedicated to "giving away" his book, Millionaire at 22, where you only need to pay for its shipping. I've read that it is an old marketing tactic at selling a product at cost. He also went on to show his mentors like Peng Joon, Chinkee Tan, and Gary Vaynerchuk. Although I think they aren't literal mentors where they meet at certain dates. You can essentially have any mentor you want in the world today because of the internet. Also, there is this line of thought of giving away your greatest idea to let people know that you are the "Go to" person in your field. This is being pushed heavily by the likes of Gary Vee and a host of other online marketers. You can essentially pick any thought leader's brain because there is this growing trend of people putting out their best ideas in the internet for anyone to consume. You can listen to Gary Vaynerchuk give advice to his clients or watch anyone flesh out their thoughts in a longform interview in a podcast. In this seminar, he gave his 5 step system in building an online business. 1. Identify a problem. - Solve big problems, get huge returns. 2. Create an offer. - An offer is something that increases the perceived value of your product. 3. Build a sales funnel. - A funnel narrows down your clients, increases their exposure to your sales pitch, and warms them up for a possible purchase at the end of the funnel. 4. Attract motivated customers. - It's easier to sell to someone who already are looking for something you are offering. 5. Automate. - The elusive passive income that everyone is looking for. If you build a system, your business will be working for you 24/7. Scarcity and bonuses. After teaching the attendees about his system, he then proceeded to pitch his upsell, which is a 3-Day live workshop, to the members of the audience. He added special items in the offer, like ready made templates, files, and digital products that would make his 3-Day workshop seem more valuable.
