8 Second Ford Thunderbird Drag Racing
Everyone remembers the Foxbody Mustangs from the 1980s, but what about the Thunderbirds? Today at RPM Army were bringing you an 8 second, amazing sounding Ford Thunderbird racing at National Trail Raceway during the Import Face-Off event.
National Trail Raceway is an NHRA quarter mile drag strip located between Hebron and Kirkersville, Ohio, USA, off of U.S. Route 40. The track is located about 30 minutes east of Columbus, Ohio. It is known to us locals as Nationals Trails.
Import Face-Off is an event that happens at National Trail Raceway twice a year. It is a big car show as well as drag racing event. The pits are literally filled with any kind of import cars you could think of from JDM to euro cars. The drag racing matches always bring something interesting to the table because it isn’t just import cars racing.
Here at RPM Army on YouTube we focus on local motorsports events. The goal is to provide the best local coverage of racing events in the central Ohio area.

Today we have a pretty awesome sounding 11 second Super Stock Camaro making some practice runs at National Trail Raceway's Wednesday Night Drags.
The Wednesday Night Drags is an open test and tune event hosted by National trail raceway on Wednesday evenings around 5pm and lasting until 9pm. It is a good time for racers of all types and experience levels to test their skills on the tree and see what their cars can do going down the strip. On a typical night you can find everything from someone practicing bracket racing with an old kia, all the way to NHRA Top Dragsters and no time grudge cars making test hits.

Today we're bringing you Ronnie King's Super Pro V8 S10 drag racing at Kil Kare Raceway during the Outlaw Street Cars Hot Summer Nights event 2020.
The Outlaw Street Car Associations Hot Summer Nights was an 1/8th mile outlaw drag racing series event held at Kil-Kare raceway. It had some of the best racing action all year and spanned multiple classes from True Street cars all the way to the Outlaw Run What Ya Brung class. The OSCA is headquartered in Henderson Kentucky and their web address is outlawstreetcars.com.
Kil-Kare Raceway is an NHRA and NASCAR affiliated complex that has both a ¼ mile drag strip and a 3/8 mile oval track. It is located near Xenia and Dayton, Ohio. It was first opened in 1959. The complex, which is believed to be named after an old resort that was near the property, is one of the few strips in the nation with a concrete surface for the entire ¼ mile length.

Tough Trucks, also known as Tuff Trucks, Rough Trucks, Pro Arena Trucks and, Street Warriors, are off-road truck competitions held at 4x4 truck jamborees, fairs, and monster truck events. Tough Truck competitions are a downsized form of short course offroad racing. They are run as a side act at most monster truck shows. The tracks can range from as big as a football field, to as small as a hockey rink. Most track set ups consist of of double jumps, single jumps, uneven rocker hills, and kicker ramps. Some competitions are run as a single pass time trial, or side by side racing.
