Let it recharge to 2000 instead of immediately putting it back up when available. Charge only if you will end up in a safe place with teammates. Never dive into and area where your healer can die; your shield is crucial to both of your lives. Use your ult when it buys overtime, saves a valuable teammate, will kill a crucial enemy, or cancels an ult. On attacking side: Shield isn't as important to your team's survival. Use ult when it buys you good distance or saves teammates. On both sides: Stay behind the payload. Protect your healer(s). Use firestrike as often as possible.
