Don't use crimp connectors as the resistance it too high. Solder every time and every where you can.
I found that on my new fancy battery charger that some crimp connectors were hot. I also found a fuse was hot. I cut them all out as battery chargers are so much safer now and soldered each connection. Far cooler and it was easy to see with the FLIR. It matters. Don't trust any crimp connector or screw down battery term end as amps drop, voltage drops and resistance and heat happen. Keep earthing/grounding contact points clean and greased. The last thing on the dash/fascia that didn't work. It was hard, but it works now. Thank you for watching. Bobby

Why are these things so hard to work on? It will be fine and all good in the end. Maybe a 1960 Chevy? Thanks for watching. Bobby
