Facebook has added a new feature called Manage Activity that makes it easy for users to bulk delete their old posts. Watch this video to learn how to bulk delete your old Facebook posts! #FacebookManageActivity To begin, open the Facebook app and go to your profile page. Tap the three dots in the menu below your profile picture. Then select Activity Log. At the top, tap Manage Activity. At the bottom, tap Your Posts. Now select Filters. In the menu at the bottom, tap Date. Now select a start and end date for the period you’d like to delete posts from. Then tap Done. Now, look through the posts that fall within the dates you selected and tap any you want to delete. Once you’ve selected all the posts you want to remove from your profile, tap Archive if you just want to hide them, or Trash to delete them. If you choose to move posts to the Trash, you’ll have 30 days to restore them before they’re deleted permanently. You can access your Archive and Trash at the top of the page. For those with visual impairments, adding alt text to your Instagram posts can be very useful. It can also give your Instagram posts an SEO boost by telling the IG algorithm what you're posting. Learn how to add alt text to new and existing Instagram posts in this video! #InstagramTutorial #InstagramHacks #InstagramAltText You can add alt text to a post while you’re creating it, on the same page as when you add your caption. Begin creating a post as usual, then once you’re finished your caption, scroll down and tap Advanced Settings. Under Accessibility, select Write Alt Text. Write a description of what’s actually in your photo or video. This will allow those with visual impairments to get a description of what you’ve posted, and will tell Instagram’s algorithm what you’re posting. When you’re finished, tap Done in the top right corner to save your alt text. Tap the arrow in the top left to go back, and share your post as usual. To add alt text to a photo or video you’ve already shared to Instagram, go to your profile and find the post you want to write alt text for. Then tap the three dots in the top right corner. Click Download to begin. Once the download is complete, click on the zip file to unzip and open it. In your Downloads folder, double click Pause to launch the app. Click Open to confirm. Now you’ll be prompted to set up the app according to your break preferences. Click Next. Choose how often you’d like to take a break. Use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the amount of time between breaks, or type in the numbers using your keyboard. Click Next. Then, indicate how long you want your breaks to last. They can be just a few seconds, or several minutes. It’s up to you! Click Next to continue. In order for Pause to work properly you need to allow notifications. Click Enable Notifications. In the top right corner of your screen, you should see a pop-up appear. Click Options, then select Allow to enable notifications. In the main Pause window, click Next. After that, Pause is all set up and ready to send you break reminders. The reminders will automatically pop up on your screen at the frequency you’ve set up. To customize the text that may appear when you’re prompted to take a break, click the Pause icon in the menu bar at the top. Then select Preferences. Here you can change the frequency and duration of breaks. If you click Suggestions, you can add or remove breaktime activity suggestions. Click the plus sign to add a new suggestion, like have a snack, or check on your pets. Add as many of these suggestions as you’d like, and tailor them to specific things you might like to quickly do during a break in your work day. When your break reminders appear, one of these suggestions will be randomly selected to be displayed. If you need a quick break during the day outside of the frequency of breaks you’ve set up, click the Pause icon and select Take a Break. The break reminder will automatically disappear when the break duration you’ve set has elapsed, but you can click Skip This Break at the bottom any time a break reminder appears to dismiss it and continue with your work. If you’d like to disallow break reminders from appearing because you need to focus on work, enable Focus Mode. Disable Focus Mode again when you’re done so break reminders can resume.
