Once upon a time, a a 2-month old fawn came for a visit that had been raised by some caring people. Since they could not care for the fawn, whom they had named "Dawn," they dropped it off at my place out in the 'boonies." This is the story of the wonderful month we had with this beautiful creature that we fell in love with. She is so gentle. So beautiful. Her would was treated and I was told it was probably a black berry vine, as I have no barbed wire around my place. When they let her out of the car, they said she walked right into the infirmary where all new arrivals come to be initially treated and quarantined, like she owned the place. She is doing very well... still loves people and other animals, but is also getting very accustomed to her own species. This is not a place where I can ever visit... it is not open to the public. With "Silent Bob" and family, we finally get away to the beach to do that metal detecting that we have been wanting to do for a few years. This story turns into a real life drama where prayers are answered! While I was busy getting skunked for the second day in a row, not finding anything of value, I turned to prayer. Within 15 minutes, I was helping a gentleman in need, having lost his keys the day before. In short order, my hands were directed to where the keys were. A message to the owner of the keys: I hope you did not think that I disrespected you by not accepting your offer to pay me money in gratitude for finding your keys. As a Boy Scout leader, I believe in doing a good turn daily, and having just prayed to our Lord to find something, it was He that lead me. The glory for finding the lost keys is His.
