▸BHE: 52:40 ➥Greetings Adventurers! Let’s talk about the new dungeon arriving with the Infernal Descent module: The Infernal Citadel. As Neverwinter takes its first steps into Avernus we wanted to capture the chaotic nature and hellish vistas for the Infernal Citadel. Players will travel to one of the floating devil citadels littering the skies above Avernus. Their bulky chains criss-crossing in a chaotic spider web of misery as they pull their victims down to hell. Several of these citadels have captured the Vallenhas family Stronghold. Through might or luck, adventurers need to make their way into these citadels to break the chains, offering some respite for the cursed family. Breaching the gates of a devil citadel is no easy task. The demons had plans of their own, however, and are invading hell in a battle known as The Blood Wars. Wanting to win at any cost, the demons will offer a brief alliance to any who wish to cause destruction, or even simply a distraction, to the devils. Such a group of demons can be found by adventures at the gates of the Infernal Citadel, ready to grant additional power to those ready to fight, but can demons ever be trusted? Besides the tricks and traps the devils have lying in wait, new powerful foes are ready to pounce on any fleshling who stumbles into their territory. A giant Bone Devil, complete with spines as sharp as spears and wings alongside its long claw tipped limbs which keep its movement unpredictable. A pit fiend who can summon deadly pools of fire at will holds court inside the citadel. Don’t make the mistake of approaching him the same as any old devil, for Zaphael is one of the most powerful of his kind and will not take kindly to any mortal who thinks they are worthy of his challenge. Even if players survive all of the deadly critters, traps, chaos, and fire, they will be forced to face off with the massive Hellfire engine up close in the caged death arena the devils use to entertain themselves with the poor unfortunate souls they capture. Un año después, Jill Valentine y su compañero Parker Luciani se dirigen a investigar un misterioso crucero llamado "Queen Zenobia" donde se presume que fuerón dadas las ultimas coordenadas de la ubicación de Chris Redfield y Jessica Sherawat, pronto descubren que todo fue una trampa, ya que posteriormente se ve a Chris y Jessica investigando un choque de avión en unas montañas en Rusia. Cuando les informan a Chris y a Jessica sobre la desaparición de Jill y Parker, se dirigen a su búsqueda a el mar mediterráneo y envían un equipo de la BSAA a investigar las montañas en Valköinen Mokki, entre ellos los agentes de la BSAA Quint Cetcham y Keith Lumley. Mientras tanto, Jill y Parker descubren que el barco esta infectado por un nuevo virus y se hacen testigos de varios eventos como la muerte y mutación de una agente de la FBC, Rachel Foley . y se encuentran con Raymond Vester, un viejo compañero de Parker cuando solía trabajar para la FBC, se muestran "recuerdos" de Parker peleando en Terragrigia (estos recuerdos son jugables) y como es que vio caer la ciudad. Conforme avanza la historia se descubre que el nuevo virus Denominado Virus-T Abyss que es una var Jessica y el T-Abyss iante del virus T combinada con veneno de los peces del abismo (de allí los mutantes del Virus-T Abyss como los Ooze, Sea Creeper o Scagdead, por mencionar algunos) por lo que las mutaciones tienen propiedades acuáticas. También se muestra que todo sobre "el regreso de Veltro ||" (las trampas a Jill y Parker) fueron planeados por Clive R. Obrian y Raymond, pero para un fin, para probar que Morgan Landsdale, el Director de la FBC, estaba implicado con algo en Terragrigia (Posteriormente se muestra que fue el que administro y suministro a Veltro || para su ataque a Terragrigia, su ideología era que no podían existir grupos como la FBC sin bioterrorismo) y hasta cierto punto, "El Regreso de Veltro ||" era cierto ya que en el Queen Dido seguían vivos algunos miembros y el Aeropuerto de Valköinen Mokki, había algunos agentes de Veltro ||, Morgan, para cubrir su huellas, decide silenciarlos, hundiendo al Queen Dido justo después de el ataque a Terragrigia y liberando BOWs en el aeropuerto de Valköinen Mokki.
