SETUP: basically, the setup is 4 triangles connected at the base, corner to corner. The center square is about 6 yards x 6 yards (5.48 meters). The white cones (the apex = highest point of each triangle) are about 6 yards away from the center square.
Watch the players inside the center square: when he receives the ball from the player at the white cone his first touch is just inside the orange cone and towards the white cone to his left before playing the ball to that next white cone. The exercise continues counter-clockwise.
When the player at the white cone receives the ball from the left he quickly changes direction sharply to his right before playing the ball to the player inside the center-square to his right and the exercise continues counter-clockwise.

Here in the US we call this ‘steal the bacon’ and it is a perfect warm up exercise or something to do to have fun or to get the players dialed back in if you have lost their attention.
2 players, 6 balls. They used cones here but the cones aren’t necessary. On the trainers signal each player attempts to pull the ball away from the other for a point.
This can easily be done in a team session. Just have each player get a partner and a ball.
COACHING PRO TIP: to make it even more fun in a team session play a ‘Scottish Tournament’. Play several rounds. After each round each player moves up one position or down one position depending on whether they won or lost. This will gradually have the quickest players competing against each other. The only two players that don’t move is the player in the top position who just won and the player in the bottom position who just lost. The players will love it. I guarantee it. If you have an odd number of players the odd-man waits just below the bottom position. The loser in the bottom position steps out of the game and the odd man out steps in.

We shot this during one of our visits to the Bavarian club. This is a 5 v 3 + 3 possession exercise. 5 attackers v 3 defenders in one half of the field while 2 unopposed attackers are open in the other half of the field. The team in possession attempts to keep the ball from the 3 defenders while, simultaneously, looking to switch the ball to the other side of the field. Once the ball is switched 3 attackers quickly support the other 2 attackers in the other half of the field.
