Over 10,000 People March for Medical Freedom in Brussels, Belgium
??@COVID19Up: Several dozen groups in Belgium joined forces on Sunday (Jan. 9) to hold a massive march (https://www.rtbf.be/info/dossier/epidemie-de-coronavirus/detail_manifestation-contre-les-mesures-sanitaires-a-bruxelles-les-dernieres-arrestations-sont-en-cours?id=10911360) for medical freedom in Brussels.
The organizers invited "all those who think that something is wrong" with the government's COVID-19 health measures to join the movement in a statement on Friday, specifying that it would be a "peaceful gathering."
Protest leaders said 25,000 people attended the march.
Journalists estimated there were 10,000 participants.
Police said there were only 5,000.
At least 30 people were arrested (https://www.brusselstimes.com/brussels/200852/over-30-people-arrested-at-protest-against-covid-measures-in-brussels) during the demonstration.
