2004 Schindler MT 500A Traction Elevators at The Hixon Building (Charlotte, NC)
This building and the other surrounding two buildings were built around 2002-2004. These 3 buildings have 500A's with MT with the true 500A Chimes, and they seem to be the only ones with the true chimes in the Ballantyne Area. All other 500A's in this area (from what I've seen) have 400A Chimes.
This is virtually the same as the prior building. This place, for the most part, is mostly abandoned and most of the floors are empty and undeveloped.

Here are 2 interesting Elevators. I discovered some very interesting stuff. The OG Cabs were likely from the 1920's and were likely Otis, but were full on completely replaced in 1992 by Asheville/Mountain with Adam's. I know this because apparently suejoshappy has filmed these when they were not modded. But as seen in an older video on my channel, these got modded months ago. And now this cab is finished.
The mod is okay considering this is Innovation were talking about, and the mod could've sucked dick like many of their Universally Cheap (Universal) Mods. At least they went with one of the better Innovation Fixtures, Prestige. The Cab looks fine and it rides smoothly, however the buttons were a bit glitchy on the right cab and the floor is pretty sus like the other cab. We need some legit flooring in here, but other than that, not bad for a DeInnovation Slap On. It's pretty cool that the 2nd floor retained their OG Floor Indicators from the old cabs that were replaced almost 30 years ago.

This was the 3rd Office Building I was somehow able to enter in on the 4th of July, and man was I in for a treat!
We have 3 2008 Kone MonoSpaces, 2 Passenger and a Hybrid Passenger/Service. For this video, I filmed the 2 Main Passenger Elevators and the Hybrid Service/Passenger is an Odysee Exclusive you can find here:
I know it's common courtesy for people to shit on Kone, especially the Mid 2000's-Mid 2010's era, but the only crappy Kone I've seen so far are 2 Outside 2002 installs. People generally hate how they can run, break down, and are kinda cheap, but this Pair of 3 break that stereotype.
These cabs are in great shape! Hell, even the Hybrid Elevator (will be exclusive to Odysee) is in great shape and not very beaten up. Not only that, almost all of the original buttons (except for one) are still in tact, which is rare sight in of itself. And not only are they smooth as butter ride wise, these are literal rockets, 350 FPM for 5 DAMN FLOORS mind you, and they don't feel too fast like you're gonna fly away at the speed these go. These are my 2nd Favorite Set of Kone Elevators in NC, right behind the High Rise Kone MonoSpace Elevators at Harrahs Cherokee in Cherokee, NC.

I filmed this sucker a while back and was destined to be refilmed!
This thing is pretty sweet. Westbrook Hydros are very rare to come by compared to their Tractions. It has a pretty nice motor, but jolts a bit arriving up. It levels ridiculously quick as well, which is nice but may account for the jolting while arriving on the upper floors.
The best part... YOOOOOOOOOOO! It has Black Button Payne Buttons! That means everything is original despite the add on phone! Despite that, this is kinda a bare basic model with no Floor Indicator, making it kinda boring disregarding the motor. But the buttons and Awesome Call Panels with the In-Use Lights, plus the motor make up for the boringness. While I prefer their Tractions, this Hydraulic is pretty nice and stands the test of time. Westbrook never disappoints!

These were once Westinghouses (because of course) that got a TXPress Mod similar to the Marriott next door. Sometime in the last year or so, Otis came and did another mod. I do not care for the mod whatsoever, especially since they are glitchy, but the cabs are EPIC! My anxiety went through the roof when I got closer to the glass. The fear of falling is nice, eh?

While some buttons are not holding up well and the cabs are painfully lifeless minus the back walls, I did have some fun riding these. They run pretty well and go 500 FPM! I wish the interior was more interesting and not so dull...

This is the "Entrance" Elevator that takes you up to the lobby. It's definitely a newer elevator and is a Gen2 Life variant! It's a sleek and modern looking elevator with a cool LCD indicator on the inside! While a standard 2 Story, it is rather nice looking!

Here is a newer elevator added onto this garage in 2019. It seems pointless at first, but apparently there were add ons to this garage. Still would be nice to see a 2nd one next to this one. This runs a lot better than the main set.

Welcome to Traditional Tuesday Part 1/3: A Day where I upload early access videos of all of the Traditionals I've found in Knoxville!
This is the Downtown West location (not literally in Downtown)
Here is a surprise Traditionally Boring in what looked like a newer building on the outside. It's a Standard 2 Story Hydro that doesn't run well, which isn't surprising at all. And of course the best part about this elevator, the Interior Wedge Floor Indicators, doesn't even light up of course...

These are some basic Schindler 9300 Escalators. I thought these were Kone due to the elevator being Kone, but it turns out they are supposedly Schindler. The lack of a brand on these doesn't help. The lobby make these pop out a little bit more.
