If you follow a faith out of fear of the consequences of not following it, then this ideology or faith is a fear-based belief! If the fear of consequences for eternal punishment in some kind of Hell, is the motivation behind following a faith, then you're obviously not following the belief for the sake of righteousness, but because someone scared you into following this faith - which many parents do to their children, and thereby they repeat the mistake that their parents did to them, when they were children themselves - and so the traditions continue to corrupt mankind by the participation of mankind itself! “It’s not the act itself, but the intention behind the act, that really matters.” Following a fear-based faith is the exact opposite of following and fufilling the purpose of life! The purpose of life is to practise righteousness with the aim of eventually mastering it to perfection - or at least to a very high degree! "God is Love. And Love is of God. And those, who do not Love, do not know God."

The purpose of life is very easy to understand and very difficult to do at the same time: Do not do evil, but do good instead! It's that simple! The purpose of life is to learn about and practise Righteousness by avoiding doing evil deeds and instead doing good deeds, and strive for moral perfection in the spiritual sense! When you've mastered Righteousness to a certain high degree, you'll be worthy of entering The Kingdom of Heaven - The Eternal Life, where the weels of physically based reincarnation and Karma no longer apply! And how do you do that? Start by training youself by practising the essential part of God's Law of Love (Jesus said): "You shall not do unto others, as you would not, that others should do unto you. You shall do unto others, as you would, that others should do unto you." - and this also apply, if you feel a need to correct someone - if so, then do it in the same way, that you would want to be corrected yourself. - easier said than done, but as we all know: Practise makes perfect eventually! In the eyes of God, it is always the intention behind the act, that really matters, and not how others choose interpret the act: "It's not the act itself, but the intention behind the act, that really matters."
