Recently, malware has been discovered in the Ubuntu Snap Store. This leads to a number of questions. Who's to blame? Can this be prevented? Are snaps, flatpaks, appimages, PPAs, and the AUR "safe"? I'd also like to talk about the various free software licenses--some are clearly better than others in situations such as this.
