This video will cover the solo build.

I’ll run you through the thought process and everything you should be considering when making this build.

We’ll be focusing on the Nomad set, as this is the set that was developed mainly for solo play, and the bonuses it provides really do help keep you alive while learning the basic mechanics of the game.

For this reason I see this set as probably the best beginner set in the game. While you’re still mastering the movement, and learning how to react in certain situations, this set is by far the most forgiving if you make any mistakes….particularly if you’re running solo.

But, the basics I’ll be talking about here can definitely be taken away and used with other sets that you choose to use.

The Special Air Service Regiment, or SASR, is a special forces unit of the Australian Army. This group was modelled on the British SAS and formed back in 1957… both units share the motto, "Who Dares Wins". This organisation has taken part in a number of operations in and around Australia, while also providing counter terrorism support. A number of projects have included other countries such as Borneo, East Timor, Vietnam, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan. After observing the operations of the British Special Air Service during the Malayan Emergency in the 1950s, the Australian Army decided to raise its own SAS unit, and on the 25th of July 1957, it was established. Within this unit, there consists 4 Sabre Squadrons, that operate globally in warfare, surveillance, and humanitarian aid, along with peace-keeping initiatives... across the world. The SASR regards themselves as having very high entry standards,... and selection into the regiment is considered to be the most demanding of any entry test in the Australian Army. Part of their role requires working in small teams for extended periods and often without support from the outside. Because of this, they are categorically selected for their ability to work in a close and isolated environment as a team,... rather than just as individuals. The Polish GROM is a tier 1, premier Special Forces unit. The Operators of this unit have gained the nickname “The Surgeons” due to their extensive medical knowledge and training, along with their "surgical like" ability to coordinate and execute special operations. Originally GROM was modeled from a number of NATO's special forces units including the US Army Delta Force, the Navy Seal's Team Six, and the British SAS. Looking back to the 1970s and 1980s, there were several formations of special forces units within Poland,.. but these were either trained purely in anti-terrorist operations.. or military assignments, such as espionage and interfering with enemy communications. In 1989, a General proposed that a special response team be established to counter the threat from terrorism and other unconventional dangers, after the Polish embassy in Bern, Switzerland… was taken over by terrorists. GROM, stands for something I shouldn’t even attempt to pronounce: Grupa Reagowania Operacyjno-Manewrowego Basically it translates to “Group (for) Operational Maneuvering Response”, and is one of the five special operations units, of the Polish Armed Forces. The unit was named after the Silent Unseen – Poland's elite World War II special-operations unit. Candidates applying to serve in GROM have to pass psychological and durability tests, along with the so-called truth test, a physically and psychologically exhausting field test, designed to filter out weaker applicants. GROM soldiers train with the best special operation units in the world. It was officially activated on July 13, 1990. Approximately 75% of GROM personnel are trained as medics or paramedics. In addition, each group is supported by several professional physicians. GROM soldiers are trained in capture or kill methods. With the reactivation of Team Rainbow in 2015, two GROM operators were recruited to assist in the war on terrorism, on a global scale.
