Preparations for the 27th International Film Festival of Kerala have been completed. The city is ready to welcome more than 12000 delegates, filmmakers, and film lovers. 184 films over 70 countries will be screened across 14 theatres, including the main venue, Tagore Theatre, during the eight-day fest. 9600 seats have been set up for the festival in various theaters. Nishagandhi, an open theater with 2500 seats, is the largest screening venue. 'Satan's Slaves 2: Communion' will be featured on the fourth day of the fest in midnight screening session at Nishagandhi. Nishagandhi has special 4K technology prepared by Christy Digital. It is the venue for the Opening and closing ceremonies of the fest. As part of the festival, various art and cultural programs are slated. Tagore Theatre, will have musical evenings by Tamil rock band Jhanu, Pradeep Kumar, and others.
