Pokémon Red Version Colorized - Gym Leader Giovanni
After completing your mission at Silph Co. and getting all the other 7 gym badges, return to Viridian City and enter the gym. This gym has a maze with items and arrow tiles that make you spin. You’ll battle a few trainers as you navigate the maze. Once you solve the maze, you’ll take on Giovanni once more. Giovanni uses Ground type Pokémon. Dugtrio has great Speed and will use Dig to avoid attacks the first turn then strike the next turn. Nidoqueen will use Body Slam to paralyze targets while Nidoking will use Thrash to repeat for 2-3 turns then become confused. Rhydon knows Horn Drill and Fissure, both of each move that takes an opponent down in one hit but doesn’t work if a target is faster. After winning, you’ll receive the Earth Badge and a TM27 (Fissure). Fissure is a Ground type move that takes an opponent down in one hit but won’t work against faster targets. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlI2kh6Jv4Y

Roark is one of the Sinnoh Leaders in the Pokémon World Tournament that can be battled in either the Sinnoh Leaders or World Leaders Tournaments. Roark is skilled in using Rock type Pokémon. Rampardos will use Stone Edge for critical hits and Zen Headbutt to make targets flinch. Probopass will use Stealth Rock to hurt those who switch out. Sudowoodo will use Wood Hammer while the Rock Head ability prevents recoil damage and Sucker Punch to strike first. Onix will use Sandstorm to change the weather for 5 turns and Roar to force switching out as the trap of rocks hurts those who come in battle. Golem will use Curse to slow down and Gyro Ball against faster foes. Relicanth will use Amnesia to raise its Special Defense stat along with a Rest and Sleep Talk combo. A move like Earth Power would be the best use for this battle.

This level takes place underwater. Watch for Bloopers and fish swimming by as you swim through. A hole acts as an abyss and will try to pull you in, so you’ll have to swim harder to avoid being pulled down. Be sure to collect some coins as you swim by. At the end, use the pipe to return to the surface and cross the big stairway to reach the flagpole.

After beating the Elite Four, watch TV at home in Littleroot Town that will tell about a certain Pokémon roaming the Hoenn region. Look all over the Hoenn routes to search for this Pokémon. If you find what the news told about, the Pokémon is identified to be Latias. Latias is on Level 40. Roaming Pokémon flee on the first turn when encountering them. Keep checking your Pokédex to get a location of the roaming Pokémon and it will change route if you change areas. If you still have the Master Ball, it would be the time to use it. If not, use any Pokémon that knows Mean Look to prevent the Pokémon from getting away then use Ultra Balls. Latias has a signature move called Mist Ball, having a 50% chance of lowering the target’s Special Attack stat.
