These people monopolised the addiction recovery treatment. Their mentality is :" Addiction isn't a choice" and their first step is: > 1: We admitted we were powerless over alcohol While they wait for God to save them, they abound in the 'poor me, victim" mindset that keeps them bound to slavery. The Field of Psychology™ is deluded, they treat addiction as a disorder, but in fact its a matter of morality. It's not a pathological problem. The raw truth is that: `Addiction does not fall into any psychiatric category, no matter how many diagnostic manuals insist otherwise.` Doctors are brainwashed to recommend AAs meetings, AAs meetings Consultants aren't even fully recovered themselves. But hey 'relapsing' (not failing) is required, you have to 'relapse' 1000000 times, and after 30 years of relapsing , you will learn from your mistakes (maybe, if not, keep trying, the same method, again and again). Addicts are brainwashed by society and doctors and their own ignorance keep it persistent, that they are victims, while the real victims, the families of the addicts, are blamed if anything bad happens with the addicts. God/Atman gave us the power to break free, this is the thing, AA. William Griffith Wilson, one of the co-founders of AA, has the audacity to bash on actual methods that work in helping addicts by giving them their responsibility and power back: 'No you can't say this, it's not the addicts who choose to "relapse", its the neuronal pathways, they didn't choose to fail, it was the brain doing it." " No, relapsing is normal, addicts don't relapse because they want pleasure, its their broken families and its the bad society who failed them, they're victims and addictions are mental illnesses, now give us your money to __cure__ help you flee away from your addiction". The way to quit is to strengthen up your character and sense of morality and with mindfulness you can apply AVRT: realising that there are 2 ambivalent voices in your head. the animalistic one that looks to get wasted and the real you. Acknowledge this, and commit to quit forever.
