Direct ink to PCB CNC-Plotter pt. 2
This is part two of the CNC-Plotter videos for

This part shows the workflow of a PCB plotting from
start to finish, with added detail to the workings of
the plotter itself.
Remember, the plotter is entirely made of leftover
junk and some brass and CFK material I had lying
around, It is not meant to be fancy or accurate.
As a note to using permanent ink pens with PCB
material: The cleaner the PCB is - the better your
results are, you really need to get the copper to its
best shine, or the ink will come off when etching.
The aduino firmware used for this is available for
download via github. See here:

It's a brilliant machine, and you really have to understand how it works to appreciate it.

the-most-infuriating-3d-printer-of-2020
With 2020 coming to a close it's time to look back at some of the highlights of the year. This 3D printer was one for me, because it was the best small printer in the worst plastic setup and the worst manual and set-up guide in 2020.
It's good printer for the money, But as good as the electronics and steppers may be - one failed plastic part and no repairability make it a time-bomb. And the manual, that does not even mention which parts need to be removed afore first use is an all time low.
It worked great, before failing, and to repair it you need to peel of the stickers that make up the nice front.
(It sort-of reminds me of the infamous plastic Phillips VCRs of the late 80s. )

So, how does it do when put to the test ?
Pros:
- Very low price
- Small Footprint
- Heated print bed
- Many control options: USB, SD-Card, WiFi
- Very easy to set up, good manual.
- Everything included to get started quickly
- Good print speed (for its size)
- Good print quality
Cons:
- A bit loud
- Lots of 'New printer smell'
- Aluminium case with very sharp edges
- Some controller firmware quirks

elimination. The optimal setting will produce a set of lines
with same spacing on all sides.
