Trying to show the basics of rhythm making... Everything is phonetic and pronounciation is key... It turns out that a lot of people find it hard to properly pronounciate, and therefor fail to get the desired sounds...
Practicing consistency is key! I'm invited to join an irish folkband, and I said yes! So eventho I know quite a few tunes already, chances are I need to learn many more pretty soon haha!
So what I notice is, because I play mostly alone - that playing a tune correctly continuously is still a bit challenging. That is why I made this video so long: I think by cycling the tunes I will gain more muscle memory and also find more peace in playing.
Now if I play along with someone - because I really never did - it feels like I have to rush and hurry, and ofcourse be more aware of timing and consistency!
So that's why I play 1 polka in the time it usually would take to play a full set of 3 jigs hahaha...
And YES! SETS is going to be a thing as well! haha, if I start to play in a band - and I AM invited, it means I prolly will have to play sets :D...
It's cool, exciting, and SO much fun haha... But indeed I do have to improve and enhance my playing - It's a fun push and motivation, I LOVE it!
They are professional musicians, and I am really green haha - but very much looking forward to it and hoping to learn ALOT in a short amount of time!
So that's why I will be playing my whistle much more in the coming period :P... It's me practicing and seeking improvement!
And for you it's good practice material as well!
Tabs and sheets can be found on the session.org!
Good luck!

How to Clear Your Sinuses in Seconds Using Nothing But Your Fingers
https://tiphero.com/finger-sinus-clearing
Amber Lynn Vitale. She recommends doing the following steps:
1 Start at the beginning of your eyebrows. Push up under the brow bone with your fingers or thumbs while sitting at a table, leaning forward to apply pressure.
2 Move to the middle of and slightly above your eyebrow. Apply pressure to the little divot there as long as needed.
3 Move to the far edge of your eyebrow. Do not go out as far as your temple, but find the slight indentation before it. Press and hold, or move your fingers in small circles.
4 Move to the top of your nostrils on the sides of your nose. This spot should be where your cheekbone meets your nasal bone. Press, again while sitting at a table and leaning forward on your elbows.
5 Move slightly down, below your nostrils now, to another indentation, and then out to the middle of your cheekbone. Press up.

First time I made a video with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software)
Free downloadable on:
https://obsproject.com/
The tunes I collect from https://thesession.org/tunes
I copy the ABC-files which I paste into a notepad (*.txt) and save them as a *.abc file which I then import into TablEdit - which is free downloadable on:
http://www.tabledit.com/
In TablEdit you can import the ABC from the menu file and with the right settings, it generates your instant sheetmusic with the handy whistle-dots -If
To set-up TablEdit the way that it does this so nicely, you can check the tutorial on my website:

On my website you will also find further references to my tunebooks and tinwhistle project and many other things you might find interesting.

I hope you find this video useful, and if you do - I would apreciate it if you'd hit the like-button or leave a comment!
I know I didn't play the tune well - that's why it's called practice :D!!! This was more about figuring out OBS and setting it up!
If you want to try and make videos like this as well using OBS - I recommend watching this video:
