FINALLY finished this build. This is the paint and body work, as well as assembly video. I hope everyone enjoys this one. It's been a long time coming.
Back at it again everyone!! This time I'm building a router/firewall for my home network. I'll be running PfSense as the operating system. It will allow me to monitor, track, and control what comes in and out of my network. So long Windows 10 snooping junk. :)
I'll be casting the custom case out of molten aluminum. Crossing my fingers I don't burn the house down.

EDITORS NOTE: Please take note to the amount of vinegar to water ratio. It's very minimal, and the purpose of using it was to flush out the aurora, WITHOUT dismantling the entire loop.
Today I'm draining, flushing, and replacing the coolant in my nas/network tv tuner. The Aurora has finally fallen out, (as new before hand that it would), and I'll be replacing it with Mayhems Pastel Purple. I'm a little disappointed that it turned out to be more blue then purple, so I'll have to find a different purple.
Just make everyone understands. I'm not downing on Mayhems for there coolants. I think they make a good product. I knew going into it that the Aurora would fall out. They make it very clear that it is intended for show purposes. I thought it looked cool and wanted to check it out in person. And i wasn't disappointed. It looked really cool while it lasted.

This is part 3 of the PfSense router build. I have given up on casting the case, and will keep experimenting with the sand casting for a future project.
In this episode, I build the case out of aluminum stock pieces. Cutting, drilling, tapping, and even some cnc work. I also discuss future plans like paint and body work, as well and introduce my new 3D printer.
Also, if anyone has any ideas that they would like to share, leave a comment and we'll discuss them.
I hope you guys like this video and get subscribed so you don't miss out on the rest of the build.

Hey folks. I started working with carbon fiber recently and wanted to start showing what I've learned. Today, we start laminating the ThermalTake Core V1 mini ITX chassis. This is all diy stuff you can do at home. The final video was 45 minutes long. So I had to cut it in half. I hope you enjoy and get inspired. Let me know what you think!!

EDIT: one thing I forgot to mention. This cpu was NEVER overclocked.
Hey everyone. Did you ever hear the terms, "OEM", and "Retail/Boxed" CPU? Today I'm going to explain the difference, gives some tips on avoiding an OEM cpu, and what actually happened to my main rig.
