Get ready to witness a DIY power bank experiment gone wrong or right! Thanks to https://www.PCBWay.com/?from=atomic for "powering" the channel over the last couple of years.
I've got a bunch of USB-C devices and wanted to make a portable power bank to fuel them on the go. Using 2 x 10,000mAh lithium cells and a charging board, I attempt to build my own DIY power bank.
But did it end up being a disaster or a success?
Watch the video to find out as I test the capacity and performance of the power bank and explore the reasons behind any discrepancies. With some unexpected results, this video is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Don't miss out on this electrifying experience!
Thanks to everyone for watching and subscribing - and thanks to https://www.PCBWay.com/?from=atomic for their continued support.
I've got a massive pile of components that I've been accumulating over the past year or so for projects, so I thought we'd do a bit of a sneak peak at what's planned for the channel.

This was a close call - I'm not sure how close we were to going up in smoke, but it's definitely not pretty! As always we're brought to you by https://www.PCBWay.com/?from=atomic
I was just about to do some 3D printing and I took a look behind the printer. Good job I did! Apparently, this is a known issue (discovered about 5 years ago) with some Ender3 printers. But I knew nothing about it until now.
Luckily I'd just bought an InfiRay Infrared Camera after seeing it on BigClive's channel - you can pick one up here (affiliate link): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DcZoySN Make sure you get the macro lens as well!

The PCBs have arrived from https://www.PCBWay.com/?from=atomic they look great! But do they work?
I've been working on these mini ESP32-S3 boards for a while now. And it's starting to get quite interesting.

Stumbled across this: https://google.github.io/mediapipe/
Some really cool demos to try out - I'm already thinking of exciting projects I can do - not sure about the "Hair Segmentation" one though - not very relevant for me!
I'm amazed that this all runs in JavaScript in your browser. My machine is ancient and it still works really well.

Remote development on the Raspberry Pi with VSCode. As usual, we're sponsored by https://PCBWay.com.
I've been doing quite a bit of development on my Raspberry Pi and I've been using VSCode to remotely connect to it over SSH. It's a really productive way of working.

We've got some PCBs from https://www.PCBWay.com/?from=atomic and I've been getting a whole bunch of random things over the last few months.
I don't normally bother with mailbag videos as they don't tend to be very popular. But I had to sort through all these bits and pieces anyway...
