Henry U S Survival Rifle AR-7 "The gun to have when you don't need a gun".
This is a "philosophy of use" discussion and demonstration regarding the Henry U.S. Survival Rifle AR-7. Along with the Henry AR-7, I include the Ruger 10/22 TDT Take Down Rifle and the Ruger SR22p semiautomatic .22 pistol.
This is a discussion and demonstration of the method I use to seam seal polyurethane coated tarps such as the Ettowah Outfitter, Ben's Bushcraft, BCUSA tarps that do not come with heat taped seams. The product I use is called Gear Aid Seam Sure and it is a water based polyurethane emulsion that applies rapidly and thoroughly in a short amount of time. The applicator tip on the Seam Sure bottle has a nice bristle brush that allows you to pick at the threads. Furthermore, the Seam Sure is a thin enough liquid that it does a good job of soaking in to the nylon side of the tarp and saturating the threads very well while being runny enough to find its way in to the needle holes left by stitching the seam, This is an effective method of application and this is an effective product.

This is a detailed and fairly negative review of the Coleman Ultimate Xtreme 6 Day Cooler. I have owned a number of Coleman coolers in the past and this is the first one I really regret buying. Nearly every feature has design or materials flaws and on top of that the marketing claim of "Holds ice for 6 days at 90 degree temperature outside" is not just false but absolutely impossible with this specific example of the Coleman Ultimate Extreme 6. I figured out a great way to show you exactly why it can't possibly hold ice for 6 days in 90 degree heat. When you see it, you will understand that there is no doubt that 6 days for this cooler is simply impossible.

This is just a little casual chat about three excellent gun belt offerings out there on the market today. I don't go in to great detail but provide an overview and a bit of a comparison regarding why I own them.

This is a comparison of two personal shelter sized, waterproof tarps, the Etowah Outfitters/BCUSA/Bens Bushcraft 10X10 Woodland Camo Tarp and the DD 3X3 Multicam Tarp. These are very similar in price and features, but there are some key differences and I do have a favorite between them.
the Ultra Light Camp Stool I was sitting on under the Etowah Outfitters Tarp is called the Tribe Provisions Camp Stool. http://amzn.to/2cdPt1J . It gets my highest recommendation for an ultra-light packable camp chair. It's awesome! http://amzn.to/2cdPt1J

This is a close look at another personal shelter sized waterproof/water resistant tarp. This particular tarp has two things really going for it. 1) It is very inexpensive. and 2) One side of it is theremal reflective so if you like to build reflector lean to's or super shelters, this might be exactly what you need because it is far larger than any other thermal reflective tarp or blanket or sheet of mylar on the market. It is less reflective than a mylar space blanket, pretty close to the same but perhaps a bit less than a Grabber Outdoors All Weather Blanket, but it is far more reflective than the UST BASE 1.0 Tube Tarp.
This tarp has some short comings in the materials they chose for grommets and tie out points. It does not have the 3000 HH rated PU coating they claim it has (though it has been sprayed with a DWR) and this might best suit a DIY-er or a bushcrafter who doesn't mind having to overcome its shortcomings... such as it only has 6 tie out points on it and the hem is only barely attached to the material etc.

These were the first shots I took with The Hammer Slingshot/Slingbow from Simpleshot in both slingshot mode and in slingbow mode. This is just a "first shots" video and not a review. I will be doing an in-depth review in the near future... but I want some more time with it so I can accurately describe what it's like to use it in a lot of circumstances including carrying it in my pack, target practice, and hunting in both slingshot and slingbow modes with different ammo/band combinations for slingshot and arrow/arrow-head combinations for the slingbow. So, I hope you enjoy this and I hope you will watch the full review when I have that done and post it.

This is an informational comparison video about two outdoor folding saws, The Wicked Tree Gear Wicked Tough Hand Saw and the Silky Pocketboy 170mm Large Teeth. I discuss the specifications and details, do some performance testing, and offer my opinion regarding these two saws. Comarison cutting also includes cuts done with a Bahco Laplander, A Silky Gomboy 210 Large Teeth, and a Silky Pocketboy 130 Medium Teeth.

This is a good look at the Yukon Outfitters Walkabout Rainfly Tarp. This is a small, light weight, water resistant tarp marketed as hammock cover and as backpacker or hiker shelter. I'm not so sure it's appropriate for covering any full sized hammocks, it did perform very well for me in a serious storm recently. This is an inexpensive device and therefore it lacks some features you would find on pretty much all of the other tarps I have shown you in previous videos. Even while lacking those features, I think this is a worthwhile item for the price.
