This video starts at the "Koots" sculptures near Trail Blazer bridge along the Kaslo River Trail. It's the beginning of March and the winter still has a firm grip on the landscape. I got bundled up and spent the afternoon on the river trail and this video is the second of two I put together from that day.

I recently travelled to a remote location in South Eastern British Columbia in search of Grizzly Bears hoping to catch the end of the salmon spawning season, when bear and wildlife activity is plentiful.
Over 4 days exploring the area, I encountered a total of 8 grizzlies and countless bald eagles. What I was able to capture are the deeply humbling moments I live for while being out in nature, sharing the environment they live in.
It’s my goal to inspire and encourage others to want to protect these wild places and ecosystems, along with all of the animals that call these places home.

These are some of the things I've been doing to manage the symptoms of my pituitary macroadenoma (pituitary brain tumor), and what my days have looked and felt like as I await surgery.

Shortly after my pituitary macroadenoma diagnoses I had a realization when I was at the grocery store that we never know what anybody else around us is truly going through. This experience helped me to better understand that we should be kind to everybody we come across in our day to day lives.

I am lucky enough to have a friend who works as a shamanic practitioner who offers sound healing sessions as one of his many specialities. While this wasn't my first healing session with Robert, this was a unique session that was focused specifically around my head as we focused on my pituitary macroadenoma (pituitary brain tumor). I wanted to share my experience with anyone who is interested in sound healing, or perhaps anyone who is curious about it.

I went out for my first kayak of the year and it was perfect! I decided to try out filming my time on the water with my cinema camera. I was a little nervous at first but it worked out with no issues having it on the water.

During the spring months when the water level is at its lowest, Duncan Lake is a pretty unique place to explore with its extremely rocky shoreline. If you ever have the opportunity when the water is low, I highly recommend exploring this remote and beautiful lake, the scenery is incredible! Be aware though when the water is low there are some very shallow areas in this lake with an abundance of tree stumps just below the surface. We were in a jet boat which allowed us to explore the shallow waters. A huge shout out to Larry Chambers for taking me out on his boat! This man is a legend and you can tell he's truly in his element in the outdoors.
I am available for hire to document your outdoor adventures!
