I'm nine months in with growing out my gray and I thought it would be fun to participate in the Gray Hair Tag that's been going around YouTube for the last several months. It's a great opportunity to get to know the Silver Sister community!
If you have any other questions for me, feel free to post them in the comments and I'll be happy to answer them.
So many times, we hear about the tangible steps we can take to aid in our transition to gray/silver hair. But, I wanted to talk a little about mental steps we can incorporate to assist us through to the other side of transition. I hope you enjoy it and it helps in some way.
Please feel free to leave a comment or let me know if there is anything, in particular, that you'd like to hear from me.

It's been a few weeks since I've uploaded anything about my writing process or progress. It's been a little crazy around here. Changes at home and with my writing space have left me a bit discombobulated and disoriented. But, I'm getting my writing life back in order.
BTW, not thinking I'm gonna stick with the purple lipstick. My daughter will be thankful. LOL!
Anyway, if you like my content, please consider subbing to my channel. Also, don't forget to leave a thumbs up! It really helps me with reach.

For many of us writers, we have a clear cut idea of what success will look like for us. For others, not so much. What are your criteria for determining whether or not you have become a success as a writer or author?

I know, I know... it's been FOREVER since I've uploaded a video. I hope 2020 wasn't too rough on you and that 2021 finds you doing better.
I'm thinking about expanding this channel to more of a life-style type of vlog, allowing me the liberty and creativity to discuss various topics that could be helpful or useful to you guys.
Let me know your thoughts and/or suggestions of what you would like to hear or see from me.
Keep well and safe!

Ever since I posted about my silver hair journey, I have received so much love and support about that video! I'm so thankful. Many people would like to continue receiving updates on my hair. But, that leaves me in a quandary. Do I talk about EVERYTHING on this channel? Or, should I create an entirely new channel just for my lifestyle and hair updates?
Please let me know what you think in the comments. I would love to know.

Sometimes, we forget just what we put ourselves through being a writer. We feel weak and vulnerable and don't realize just how strong we already are to even attempt to do what we do. I wanted to encourage you that you are brave, bold, and courageous. You have the nerve to do what others can't. That being, a writer.
If you like this vid, please give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing.

Today's video is going to be a little different. I'm only putting it up on this channel because it is about what I've been going through; transitioning to gray hair. May not be a big deal to some. But to me, it has been huge. Think about it for a moment. If you're a woman and decided to allow your silver to grow out, how do you think your decision would be received by those closest to you? Or by those who follow you on social media? You may think that you wouldn't care what others would think. I thought that very thing. Until the negative comments kept coming. It chipped away at my confidence.
This is my fourth time attempting this transition. This time, I'm holding true and standing strong. Not only for me but for others who may be looking for the encouragement to do so, themselves.
I'm considering making a dedicated channel geared toward this journey. If you are interested in me doing so, please comment and let me know.

We all have an inner-circle of friends and family that we hope will understand why we've chosen to do what we do. However, not all of them will. It can be frustrating and hurtful. We need to understand that, sometimes, people in our lives take time to warm up to the idea of us being writers. Then, there are others who will never get it. We have to be okay with that. We don't need their validation, anyway.
