[P3D V5.0] Real Traffic Timelapse - Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD/LEMD) 17th October 2020
Another delivery of P3D TimeLapses after a break.
3 years since I did this airport. It´s my hometown´s one, so it´s my
favourite one. I was looking forward to do it again but the AFCAD file it´s a hell in order to make planes use the right taxiways, and I have been reluctant to do it during months.
It´s a love & hate relationship with this scenary. I have tried everything to make it as real as possible, but to get that I have had to delete some runway exits and some takyways; otherwise planes would have cross runway 32L just to reach departure runways 36s.
So take into account that to control the AI planes in this simulator is very difficult.
Apart from that it´s a pity to see one of the biggest airports in Europe with few planes, at least in comparison with the ones that it has in normal conditions. At least that implies that there have been few go-arounds :)
Airlines like easyJet, Aer Lingus, Aeroflot, Avianca or United do not operate now. Others like Iberia and Air Europa have around 60% of flights. It´s sad but it is what it is.
