Yesterday i wanted to see if Beamng.drive has the same loud turbocharger issue on my old pc as on my main pc. So i tried loading their new awesome map and noticed that it got stuck loading. After some trying i had the idea to look how much GPU Ram is used and there it was...
This is pretty awesome! Instead of the PC just deadlocking, the game knows it should stop loading things to prevent this. Of course a warning saying "Out of GPU Ram" would be nice for less experienced people to know whats going on, but hey, i am fine with this too ;)
The limitation, by the way, is that i don't have a 2nd screen to put the Nvidia control panel on, so it was overlapping with the game which caused the black flickering.

Wreckfest got an update a few days ago which allowed Wine to get into the multiplayer. Works fine!
Joining a Server is kinda bugged, but it seems it's a general issue and not Wine only. (i expect another hotfix in the next days) You just have to try multiple times.
Still on Wine-2.11-staging with CSMT
