Some doomsday preachers and conspiracy theorists have dubbed the Supermoon an incredibly sinister portent of doom. Astrologers and atheists take a different view of its significance. We look at all that from a Christian Worldview point of view: what does the Bible say? Is this a #prophecy? Is it #endtimes realated?

The rescue of animals by Paul "Pen" Farthing has garnered criticism in that he brought animals out of #Afghanistan from Kabul airport whilst many humans were left stranded. Note that #PenFarthing himself has never said the cats and dogs were a priority over humans. All he did was try to save some animals from the consequences of human behaviour. Here is my take on it.

A MARK AND PETE PODCAST EPISODE. “#thenewnormall” may well not be normal at all. So we need to change, to know your place means to change because everything has changed. Epidemics or pandemics such as the Spanish flu or swine flu provide us with important lessons: history has a habit of repeating itself. There will be less demand for high-rise living because people are so troubled by higher densities and sharing lifts and other communal facilities. There will be less demand for high-rise living because people are so troubled by higher densities and sharing lifts and other communal facilities. Life will not be business as usual post-COVID. Is this a generational catastrophe? We will learn from this pandemic and we will create a new normal. We will need to make cities and country towns more resilient in the future. As an urban and regional planner and former chief commissioner of the Victorian Building Authority, I am certain there needs to be change in the way in which our cities and country areas function and how we can properly plan to build resilience in our communities. That will mean different things will happen to make our cities and towns great places to live, work and play; social distancing will remain a practice and we will notice people (including children) will have a heightened awareness of personal hygiene. Church, work, homelife - how are you going to fit in and work it out post Covid-19? Mark and Pete have the answers.
