The Six Syllable mantra of the bodhisattva of compassion
Avalokiteshvara,also Known as Om Mani Padme Hom,is the
Most respectable mantra in the Tibetan Budahism;it is similar to the
Mahayana Buddhists chanting 〝Amitabhaa.〞The Tibetan
Buddhism believes that the Six Syllables mantra Om Mani
Padme Hum,is the fundamental mantra of the secret lotus section,i.e,the true precept of
Avalokiteshvara.The Six Syllabie mantra is witten,drawn or carved in the building canopies
Fanged,the ceiling,the doorframe,the religious apparatus,the rock or the slate mostly in
Sanskrit or Tibetan Letters.in Tibet,it is a norm to see people turning the prayer wheels or/and
Chanting 〝Om Mani Padme Hum〞 anytime,anywhere The Six Syllable mantra is believed to be able dislodge negative Karma and allowing one over time to achieve the six parimitas or perfections.
