Simple 2x4 Fish Tank Stand - Part 1 Teaching Ty how to use the saw and a tape measurer - Part 1
This video is the first in a series on building a fairly simple 2x4 construction fish tank stand. It also uses 4x4s for some of the parts. At the same time I am teaching my son to use the power tools and how to read a tape measurer and some saw habits that I am trying to get him to pick up. This is Part 1. ===================================== If you like what you are seeing, and want to see more "How To" videos, please subscribe! This is Episode 4 of a mini series on design and build. This episode is on modeling the Safety Flanges after 2-3 hours of research. It looks as if the professional set-ups are a bit different than the old stitched buffing wheels I am use to. It looks like I should have bought a 1-1/4" Shaft as that is more of a standard.

This is the 2nd Video in a 3 part training series. I am using Solidworks in a virtual machine, specifically VM Workstation. I know 2012 is outdated, and I do have 2013 and 2014 installed in other VMs but just decided to use this one. This video is a follow up to the Grind Box; This is a simple landing that could be added to the Grind Box.

My son is learning to work on cars, and the Mustang will soon be his. He is repainting the front and rear bumper covers as the clear coat has failed. He is also doing the wing. This video is a quick how to on removing the front bumper cover. We would have done a video on the rear cover also, but when we got the idea to film, he had already removed the rear cover and wing. Enjoy!

In this episode, we have changed the "steering arm" over to a forged style. The change involves extrude up to surface, delete face, and a bunch of filleting. This is a follow up to the last video I uploaded the prior Solidworks Saturday. This time instead of showing all of the work, I just narrated through the differences between the prior part and the updated part. There is some reordering of the feature tree and comarison between the "before" part and the "after" part. Hope you enjoy, Skud.

This is Episode 7 of a mini series on design and build. This episode is based around cleaning up some mating issues and the creation of a simple weldment structure to mount the parts to. The frame is a very simple one and we will have to adjust it on episode 8.

Guys this is the start of the buffing station for the shop. I didn't make real concrete plans as I don't know how hard I am going to have to push to polish metal. So because of that, I didn't make it portable or real permanent right off the bat so I can use it and figure out what I do and don't like about it.
