In this video I will be replacing the garbage PSU in my Ender 5 Plus, with a quality Meanwell PSU. I will also be taking apart the PSU that came with the Ender 5+ and the quality Meanwell power supply so you can see the difference! Most 3D Printers are equipped with cheap low quality Power Supply Units (PSU), with no regards to safety! These are assembled as cheaply as possible, cutting corners is the norm! If your 3D printer isn't equipped with a Meanwell PSU, you might want to look at it again to see what kind it is. Normally one wouldn't think about power supplies, but with a 3D printer you should! The Meanwell power supply is also certified with Underwriters Laboratories, Technisher Uberwachungs-Verein, European Union, Canadian Electrical Code, and CE. The letters ‘CE’ appear on many products traded on the extended Single Market in the European Economic Area (EEA). They signify that products sold in the EEA have been assessed to meet high safety, health, and environmental protection requirements. When you buy a new phone, a teddy bear, or a TV within the EEA, you can find the CE mark on them. CE marking also supports fair competition by holding all companies accountable to the same rules.
