A quick video thanking all my Patrons, those who have made donations on my website, purchased my merchandise from my store, or used my affiliate links. With your support I was able to upgrade my camera gear to a Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera, now shooting in 4K.

On my way to Cameron Corner in the outback, I experience a mystery sound, which I eventually diagnose as two damaged bolts. Here's how I replaced them.

Mariala National Park located in outback Queensland, West of Charleville, is a remote park protecting Mulga lands.
I explore the No. 3 Bore camping area, and the Rockholes camping area. Remnants from its early pastoral years scatter the park.

Bunya Mountains National Park is located approximately 200km NW of Brisbane Queensland Australia, or a 3-4 hour drive. It is home to the worlds largest stand of Bunya Pine rainforest.
There are a variety of bush walks available offering some beautiful hikes, and the chance to see some stunning wildlife. Spend at least 3-4 days camping to fully enjoy the Bunya Mountains experience.

I've upgraded my rear indicator lamps on my Land Rover Defender with a pair of RDX LED lights.
These are far superior to the original globes as they are a sealed led unit so no bulbs can rattle loose or the housing fill with water.
They are the same design and size as an original landrover lamp, sealed and IP67 rated and are dual voltage 12 and 24v.The led's are super bright, respond fast and are E marked. A great modification.

During an attempt to cross a creek while returning from Cape Melville National Park on Cape York, Australia, I get bogged and must recover my 200tdi Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon using a Magnum hand winch.
A hand winch is an invaluable tool while travelling in remote areas, especially when travelling alone like myself.

Jardine River National Park is home to the infamous Overland Telegraph Track aka the Old Telegraph Line (OTL). Join me as I continue to explore the full length of the track. Part 5 explores Cannibal creek, Cypress creek, the recovery of my bogged Land Rover Defender at Nolan's Brook aka Bridge creek, and the end of the line, the Jardine River.
This is part 5 of 7 of my Cape York Adventure, which I completed in June 2008 after 3 weeks travelling Cape York solo in my 200tdi Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon.

To reduce heat stress on my Land Rover Defender transfer case during periods of heavy offroading, I installed a Global Roamer Transfer case cooling sump. This unit extends the oil capacity by 500ml and adds cooling fins onto the base to increase air cooling of 230 transfer cases. Visit the Global Roamer website for more info. http://roamerdrive.com

I explore the Cathedral Rock track, a 5.8km loop in Cathedral Rock National Park, NSW. The hike passes through sub-alpine woodland and includes 400 metres of rock hopping and climbing up to the summit.

Lakefield (Rinyirru) is a 4-5 hour drive from Cairns and Queensland's second largest National Park. Red Lotus lilies abound at Red Lilly Lagoon, a birdwatcher's haven. The Nifold plain is eerily silent as the Magnetic termite mounds gaze out over this vast grassland.
This is part 3 of 7 of my Cape York Adventure, which I completed in June 2008 after 3 weeks travelling Cape York alone in my 200tdi Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon.
Most of this footage was filmed in October 2006, with additional material from my June 2008 trip.
