Walking in the Cold Night in the Forest | Vlog 12-23
At least two to four times a day, I take a brief 15-minute walk through the woods. That path is well laid out as I have walked it hundreds of times to the extent to which I can traverse it nearly blind. Recently I have come to enjoy these walks in the dead of night in the dead of winter (thanks to inspiration from Wim Hof), without any artificial light, only using the light from the distant towns, the moon, and the stars. This is my way to returning to nature, as I am drawn to do lately. My eyes apparently have far better night vision than my camera at its default setting. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ss6HoWQ-D58
In this abridged tutorial, I go through the major steps necessary to build a mining rig from start to finish using Ubuntu 17.10 and Claymore, showing the basics of its function and some problems you may encounter.

In this part, I get into the details of the most important part of the bike - the wheels!!! Second only of course to the decals, which add speed ;)
Vintage bikes are great, but wheel technology has come a long way since these timeless frames were produced. Luckily the frames for the most part outlived the wheels and can be easily retrofitted with modern wheels, which make a superb ride that would rival any brand new bike of its kind.
I got really lucky on the decals. Layout and scribe center points on the frame and the decal itself so you can align it perfectly; alternatively scribe the back where the decal edges meet and begin from one of the edges (harder in my opinion). I got very lucky to only freehand it and miss by only 1mm or so. Next time I have to apply one of those, I'll show what I mean.

The greenhouse needs way more wood than I thought so I bought another trailer load of slab and will show just how much fun you get to have when you cut up your own slab boards to save a buck... or a few hundred! Have you seen the price of lumber lately!?!?

Now that Colorado has been locked down, life has been altered here, but it is not the desolate mad max apocalyptic scene I had been programmed to envision. Stuff is still happening. We are already distant and isolated here, so social distancing is what we are used to anyway. I always say, eat clean with dirty hands... but these days you might want to wash your hands before you eat! I am not a doctor, but these are the habits I have adopted to keep a strong immune system.

Here is what I think you can do in your town to boost your local economy. More is less when you think about it; when you buy local, you might pay a few bucks more than some big corporate department store, but it is especially important in small-town America, where Main Street was doing just fine without that element not so long ago. That extra money you paid will come back to you much more likely if it remains circulating in your town and is not sent off to corporate headquarters states or counties away. Communities suffer when they give away their power and that's what happens when you shop in the big box. And if it is and if you must... as this is not an overnight, easy thing to which to transition... at least make sure that you support places that do give back to the community - through local sponsorships and actual participation in community events.
