One of the most alarming signs is the mark of the beast, which is a sign of allegiance to the Antichrist and his false prophet1. The Bible warns us that anyone who receives this mark on their right hand or forehead will be doomed to eternal torment (Rev 14:9-11). But what is this mark and how will it be enforced? Some people believe that it will be a microchip implant, a tattoo, or a barcode that will be required for buying and selling. Others think that it will be a global currency that will replace all national currencies and create a one world market2. This would make it easier for the Antichrist to control the world’s economy and force people to worship him or face starvation. Whatever the mark is, we need to be ready to resist it and stand firm in our faith in Jesus Christ. He is the only way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). He is coming soon to judge the living and the dead (Rev 22:12). Do not be deceived by the lies of the enemy. Do not accept the mark of the beast or the one world currency. Trust in God and His promises. He will never leave us nor forsake us (Heb 13:5).
