SE4 EP98 Sailing to Sapodilla Lagoon ahead of a storm and Golf Cart tour of Placencia and the area.
In this episode; Placencia and the nearest town of Seine Bight are worth a day of exploring so we rent a golf cart and go have a look, sharing highlights of what we saw. We love meeting and getting to know the locals. Then we set sail for Sapodilla Lagoon to tuck away from the coming weather. It's a day's sail North up the coast of Belize and we enjoy a brisk sail before arriving in the calm anchorage, and we meet up with an unfriendly catamaran, someone that (judging by his yelling) seems to have had a really miserable day...

We Spent 5 weeks camping and touring in 'Goldie' our Camper Van through Southern Australia incuding the Great Ocean rd, an overnight train ride on the Ghan to the Red Center and Ayers Rock where we among other things rode Camels. We drove from the city of Melbourne to Adelaide and so much in between! We then flew to NZ where we rented a camper Van and drove/toured both of their beautiful Islands. In the middle of it all we took an overnight boat trip to Doubtful Sound. We saw so much and so much FUN! The movie is sure to be a hit! COMING SOON! wink wink ; )

The Crew of Saltair 3 Brad, Krista and Cole, are now accepting inquiries into our new branch of this sailing life. We are offering week long stays aboard Saltair 3 where you can learn from what we have learnt, see what we see and explore the way we do aboard our 42' Catamaran with your own Private cabin. Locations and opportunities will vary but this Winter we will be cruising the 2nd longest barrier reef in the world along the coast of Belize and the beautiful islands it holds. Then up the jungle clad Rio Dulce (river) into Guatemala with howler monkeys on the river banks and locals selling their wares out of dug out canoes. An Epic adventure for sure!
