In this video I combine older work to produce a new piece using the Apple Pencil on iPad Pro. The app is procreate. The painting takes on a surreal style combining scifi with nature. I am inspired by the work of the surrealist as well as concept art such as that of Ralph McQuarrie who designed for the original star wars trilogy and H R Giger who designed for the alien movies. I have a deep interest in shamanism and buddhism and I feel this comes out in this piece.
